Lovely stop lovely walks and picnic on the river. Wish we found this little spot a day earlier x

Nice short walk to murrays cottage 30 mins. 3h circular walk from the van down to goat car park to see the goats then did the red talnotry trail veering off to 3 waterfalls and black Loch and murrays monument before coming back up the road. we will be back. Great spot

karenandterry14/09/2022lovely walk around to Murrays birthplace, really pretty river to walk over and the hills around make the spot very secluded. really peaceful nights sleep. only room for 3/4 vans .
jessgreen05/09/2021Really quiet night here. A couple of people pulled up in cars during the evening to walk dogs but apart from that we were on our own. Nice little circular route and a wheelie bin for waste.

We had a great couple of nights here, sky was very clear and we even got to see lots of shooting stars. Lovey clear view of the Milky Way. A short walk along the road to the Murray monument and feeding the wild goats. Also went for a short swim at the bottom of a beautiful waterfall just along the road. Only reason for not rating 5* was the fact that amenities were nowhere close by.
