The parking of the view point is at the main road, quite noisy and not a nature spot. The option to drive South for 300m as suggested by another reviewer requires going down a steep slope, which I didn't dare to do with my Ducato as the road is soft. 4WD OK. Instead, I took the dirt road (to NW) around the Pulicchio (counterclockwise) and found various suitable parking lots. Had a quiet night.
We we going to stay at this spot, but carabininieri told us, that it could be unsafe. So we moved around 300 meters south (unpaved road, a little bit steep, but no any provlems) and spend a night close to the fence of some territory under the trees. This place is much better, as we think, the road is far and there is nobody there.
Für eine Nacht o.k. Nachts ist relativ viel Verkehr auf der Straße auch einige LKW's. Man steht etwas auf dem Präsentierteller. Ich habe in der Früh so gegen 07:00Uhr in ca. 10 Meter einen Wolf gesehen. Ein sehr schönes und beeindruckendes Erlebnis.
Very nice view during sunsets. It's wild camping, although the main road is close by. You can hike around the ravine following the circular dirt road.
