Free, no signs. Good 4g, 30-40mbs on EE. As it's by a road it can get a bit loud during daytime, no traffic during night. The place is in the shadows in case you want to rely on your solar panels. Shuttered from wind. Stayed two nights no issues

If youre looking for a dark dingy creepy corner of kernow youve found it. Shreks swamp was the only highlight but the swamp reeked of corpse.
Very wide space and easy to get to, smelt a bit like urine in some areas. On a slight hill. Very calm and quiet area. Good place to stop for the night, 4 minute drive up hill to public toilets and the waterfall.
Spent the night here and would say it is probably better for daytime parking to get down to the Rocky Valley and the cove below. Road isn’t too busy, quietened down after 11pm and cars started passing again from about 6am. The lay-by isn’t overly flat but was manageable for sleeping. Probably better places in the area for an overnight but this suited just fine as we were knackered after a busy day!
