Another area that is now gated. And padlocked. No entry. Thay are access to the wind farm.
Pour les amateurs de grands espaces n'ayant pas peur des éoliennes, c'est un endroit tranquille pour une nuit paisible car sans circulation. Évidemment aucun service mais un très beau cairn à voir à quelques kilomètres au sud.
For fans of large spaces not afraid of wind turbines, it is a quiet place for a peaceful night because without traffic. Obviously no service but a beautiful cairn to see a few miles south.
Parkplatz vor einem Windpark. Sehr ruhige Straße mit freien Schafen. Man steht ungeschützt ist jedoch bei Wind von dem angrenzenden Wald ein bisschien in Sicherheit.
Für Zwischenstopp über Nacht okay.

Betta86828/08/2022Stayed here for 1 night, arrived around 8pm to an amazing sunset. One other car present (walkers), despite other reviews saying it’s level, we parked up on a slight incline - but levelling blocks sorted that. Very peaceful, white noise of the turbines all fine. 2 cars passed us from 8pm to 9am. Midges were present but to be expected in summer. Incredible sunrise! Safe for dogs also. 5/5 stars!

Great spot in the middle of nowhere. Great spot to discover a symbiosis of wind power and the restoration of peat land for increased biodiversity. Wind turbines can be heard but as mentioned earlier quickly become white noise in the distance. Good place to experience that the common attitude for "renewable energy great but not in my backyard" is bullshit as the majestic turbines hardly bother you

Extremely quiet enough room for 3 vans/motorhomes, flat and feels like the middle of nowhere what more do you want ? top place to camp!

Heaven!! So peaceful, no risk of being disturbed and the turbines kind of create a white noise effect. Very flat so slept really well. Camster cairns are worth a visit down the road.

Great spot. We stayed in our Motorhome for one night late October and were the only ones there. Level ground and great to be in the middle of nowhere. Still had TV and phone signal.
kvplum15/09/2020Brilliant stop, hubs builds turbines so really nice to be able to see them close up. Quiet space for the night, minimal road noise. perhaps space for 4 cars/vans or small mohos. Nice walk though the turbine fields, you can get right up to them and they are HUGE!

Good little spot! Only people there which was nice. Didn’t need to use the levellers and very few issues with midges. Turbines created a bit of noise but nothing that kept us up. Had signal here. No bins or toilets.

À fuir en été en raison des midges. Le vent est tombé en début de soirée et ensuite l'horreur. Sinon effectivement très beau spot au milieu des éoliennes et des moutons sur la route et d'un calme absolu mais les midges ont eu raison de notre enthousiasme et gâchés ce moment, même le matin il y en avait encore.

This spot is very remote and a good few miles off the main road but great. we stayed in winter (see snowy pics) but it was fab. Totally silent aside from turbines wurring. stunning views of the stars etc at night.
