Un peu de repos sur une route magnifique. Une montagne d'un côté, un lac de l'autre (la vue est légèrement obstruée par les arbres). EE et Vodaphone pleins de barres de 4G, contrairement à beaucoup d'endroits autour de ce lac. Recommande fortement.
A little lay-by on a gorgeous road. A mountain one side, a lake the other (view is slightly obstructed by trees). EE and Vodaphone full bars of 4G, unlike a lot of places around this lake. Highly recommend. There are a few other similar lay-bys of different sizes along the same road if this one is full.
Ein kleiner Rastplatz auf einer wunderschönen Straße. Ein Berg auf der einen Seite, ein See auf der anderen Seite (die Sicht wird durch Bäume leicht behindert). EE und Vodaphone volle Bars von 4G, im Gegensatz zu vielen Orten rund um diesen See. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Great spot right next to catbells and the lake the other side , good signal and good size spot to fit around 4 cars, level floor, trees shelter the wind and even though it’s a busy road still got a good nights sleep, felt safe here and stayed for 2 nights
Not suitable for motorhomes. Road very narrow
Cracking spot, quiet, fairly level, peaceful and beautiful! No stresses overnight, occasional car and Bus but quiet later on. Perfect spot for kipping with Lake and Hills all around! Easter it was just us! ??
space for a few cars of 2 vans, quiet road at night view is through trees onto the water.

Fantastic nights sleep, flat ground, out of the wind and very peaceful. The road is very quiet and we had 4G internet. We will be staying here again.
Very peaceful at night but gets quite busy during the day. The ground was slightly uneven. Lovely walking route with stunning views not far from here, but does involve walking along quite a narrow road to get to it. We had 3G/4G signal here on EE & o2, but it was a bit slow at times.
Great spot with lake views! the Cat Bells hike above is a must do. This particular layby is where we stayed and had very level ground, there was also a layby further along on the right which has room for one van and better views but the spot was taken when we went past. Quiet night and no traffic in the evening until early morn.

Great little spot beneath Cat Bells with lovely views down to Derwentwater. Very quiet at night. Room for three cans. VERY difficult access road so probably not suitable for anything other than campervans.
