Arrived 8pm. Quiet night once the cars had left 11.30ish (Wednesday night). A bit of car honking earlier in the evening but not a big problem. Very windy (as expected) but we managed to park into the wind so we weren’t thrown about too much. Would use again. Beautiful views out to sea.

Cracking views, but too busy with cars coming and going all night (Saturday) , seems to be the place where everyone rocks up with their fast food and eats in their cars. At night all the young ones came and blasted loud music and i witnessed some using helium gas. Got woken up at 3am by someone playing loud music and shouting and carrying on. I would never return here again.

pulled up about 18.30 . beautiful spot plenty of room for motorhomes too. right on the beach and harbour. small play park nearby and very large grass area too. lovely walks near by. used at night by people for gathering.

We had a relaxing and peaceful night here, there were no boy racers about - we stayed sun-mon. Lovely to be parked up so close to the sea and our dog enjoyed playing on the beach. Also got to watch the sunset over the sea. Weak 3G/4G signal on EE & o2.

apart from usual boy racers mainly at weekends it's a good spot better to park on the rough ground next to the pier as less vehicles. its good to pick up some litter left by the ignorant McDonald's diners as its only gonna end up in the sea.

mooi uitzicht en fantastisch wandelen langs de kust en in het duingebied.

Parked here for one night. Stunning sea views, with walks right outside. We didn't have any noise issues with the seagulls. The only downside to this park up are the boy racers that play loud music and chill. We stayed on a Saturday night, so we expected a bit of noise. After 1am it was quiet, so not too bad overall. We would definitely stay here again, as is such a beautiful spot.

Boy racers and wind... I'd rather park up at Maryport or Whitehaven where the views are better and it's quieter.

Lots of people about as it was a stunning sunset left about 11pm then the boy racers came made lots of noise until 3.30 am, left us alone. then seagulls started and dog walkers from 5 am. then bin men 8am lol might stay autumn time bit too busy for us. (hubby slept through it all!!!) good for day parking bit is very busy. cleaned a lot of litter too

Really lovely spot once all of the other cars left. As mentioned in the other comments, there were plenty of boy racers using the space too, but they all left within 10 minutes and were actually mostly quiet. Everything was quiet by around midnight. Just be aware that if you stay then you might wake up to seagulls dancing on your roof, or 10 as the bins hadn't been emptied. (emptied as we left)

Stayed 1 night, excellent views, stones throw to the sea, would of been a lovely sunset, however the clouds spoilt it. Some boy racer traffic, but nothing to annoying and was all peaceful by 10pm. Would definitely stay again.

If you like the sound of the sea, it will be perfect. car park is lovely and flat tarmac. a few cars till around 9-10pm then piece and quiet with the sound of the waves. wind swayed the van gently. if its too windy there are other places we could have stopped a few hunded yards back down the road. there is a nice walk along the clifftop. would definitely come back.

Quite place to pull up. very windy at the point down the bottom though as both sides are the sea shore weather wasn't too great though tbf. No signs prohibiting overnight stays

Beautiful spot, virtually on the beach, with both sunset and sunrise. Quite busy with cars coming and going, but not at all rowdy. People mostly watching the sunset or hanging out quietly inside their cars. However, it was very blowy, especially on the raised car park area. I moved to the top of the beach area, near the railings of the jetty. It was a bit calmer there. Despite loud noise and a bit of rocking, Nith from the wind, I slept well. Would return, especially for the views.

Beautiful sea views, was a bit noisy with kids in cars doing their usual thing earlier on. All went quiet come 11pm, and we slept well and un-interrupted. Dog walkers in the morning are a bit noisy, but for a free over night stop you can't complain. Will definitely be back.

Stayed here last night fantastic views. As the carpark is on a peninsula it was very windy but didn't cause us any problem. other comments mention the corsa crowd but never saw this , there were cars coming and going until 10pm but did not give any cause for concern.

Grand parking avec belle vue sur la mer, monter jusqu'à la croix pour admirer le paysage, pas de vent

Local youth hotspot for racing and gathering, such a shame, an idilic spot spoiled by the Corsa crowd and their loud music until the early hours littering with McDonalds bags.
