Lovely quiet spot on the edge of Snowdonia national park with hill views all around. In between Bala Lake (Llanuwchllyn) and Lake Vyrnwy on the Bwlch y Groes pass (Hellfire Pass). No facilities. Approach roads a bit steep and narrow in places. Second highest pass in Wales

Had the place to myself all night and not a single vehicle passed on the road. Care was needed on the drive here due to icey roads, but nothing too difficult. 4G signal on 02 and the most amazing views. No facilities but still lovely and clean and plenty of space.
amazing spot beautiful views very quite. would not recommend to vehicles larger then our LWB HIGH TOP as can get very tight.
An ideal overnight stop if you don't mind the narrow twisty lanes. Beautiful views and ideal for a trek. Sheep run loose so dogs need tether. We stayed 1830 to 1030 and will return.
picturesque stop on Hellfire Pass! 4G signal with O2. room for 5 vans easily, dog walkers in the morning, great place for stargazing if the sky is clear. friendly warden popped down in the morning
Wir waren 2 Nächte an diesem wundervollen Ort. Die drei Zufahrtsstraßen eignen sich leider nicht für Wohnmobile über 6 m, da die Ausweichsmöglichkeiten auf der einspurigen Straße sehr klein sind. Die Straße von Süden kommend ist für Fahrzeuge über 2 t gesperrt und im letzten Stück 17% steil. Am einfachsten ist die Straße von Norden kommend. Schöne Wanderung zum See nach Osten (Vymwy) insg. 4 Std.
beautiful spot, bit windy, but not surprised with how high we are lol... but stunning views make up for it..... would definitely recommend for a nights stop over, please take rubbish with you and let's respect the place x
There are only 2 good things about this spot, the phone signal and the views. Apart from that expect to be kept up all night with the wind (even in the sturdiest of vans and on a good day), other parties ruining it for people by having fires and in turn the wardens turning up. Had someone come past and hold down their horn at 1am. It’s a regular bikers spot, such a shame others ruin it :(
Ein wunderschöner Platz! Tagsüber gut besucht, abends unglaublich still. Die Zufahrtsstraßen sind sehr schmal und man muss damit rechnen, dass man Platz für entgegenkommende Autos, Motorrad-/Radfahrer oder Schafe machen muss. Mit einem VW T5 ging es gut, für größere Autos nicht geeignet.
Stayed last night - only ones here. Stunning views and very quiet. Only a few sheep and lambs around. Good 4G which is surprising for such a rural location. Please keep it litter free and don’t abuse.
Beautiful views and quiet place. Good phone signal, roads not too bad getting here but probably not the best for bigger motor homes. Our sprinter campervan was absolutely fine. Will definitely come back. No prohibiting signs. Just ensure to keep this place clean and tidy so this gem stays open.
Excellent views. Can be exposed to the wind and rain. Hairpin bend (mentioned in a previous comment) is the southern side. The road is narrow but the corner is fine if you take it slow and go wide (we managed it in our 7.5m long motorhome).
We stayed here for one night and got a good night sleep. We arrived in the evening and there was 3 other vans there, but plenty of room for more. The views are amazing and it's a lovely place to watch a sunset. 4G signal available.
Très bel endroit, magnifique vue, parking calme et bonne connexion internet. Pas d'habitations aux alentours, nous avions les moutons comme voisins les plus proches.
Great location, excellent phone signal, really peaceful and quiet location with virtually no traffic. Only ones there the night we stayed and felt safe. No issues at all. No rubbish anywhere at that time. Highly recommended for a night stop over .
Fantastic view. Good 4g signal for streaming TV. Managed to get here with a 7 metre Crafter van but did have to negotiate a very tight hairpin coming up. Didn't return that way so not sure if it would be possible to do a 3 point turn going downwards. Left via the lake route. Stayed 1 night, only ones here.

Great spot, views are fantastic and space for a good few vans without feeling cramped. As a previous reviewer said - beyond the little hills people have left behind tissues etc from toileting, which is a shame.

Gorgeous views, lots of space for vans, a few windy parts in the roads but still accessible for van
what an epic spot to wild camp, there are a couple of wild spots off the back of the car park which are great but you will need a 4x4 to get to them. we stayed in the very level car park. If you go for a walk beyond the upper wild spots you will find lots of examples of people not being self contained! (people using it as a toilet) please only stay if you leave nothing behind! do not ruin it!

Lovely little spot narrow road and a few potholes but worth it amazing views peaceful a few farmers drive by every now and then but no bother they just stayed to watch the sunset would recommend this spot

Lovely little spot overlooking Snowdonia mountain range, room for around 7 vans (depending on how people have parked) Breathtaking views en route. Narrow road in some spots. 2 tonne weight restriction (except for access) which would make it impossible for a long vehicle due to a very sharp hairpin right.
Absolutely beautiful place to stay for the night! A few cars come and go until about 12/1 am but this was on a bank holiday, there were a few other campers in a stunning place! The lanes are narrow and single so just be aware
