Didn’t stay overnight, just used for 3 hour stop to explore Whitstable, which was very pleasant. Bit expensive for an empty car park. Ended up staying overnight at Reculver up the coast - which was a much more rural and pleasant spot.

Fantastic overnight park up in a lovely area by the sea

  • 5/5

Great spot to park overnight…nice and close to the beach. We enjoyed the local food and a few pints before settling down for a good sleep without any interruptions or disturbance.

  • 5/5

Motorhomes definitely are allowed here overnight, just must be parked in the bays or you risk a fine. Wonderful location close to the great Continental Hotel

  • 5/5

just tried to park here and the barrier was down, looked like an amazing spot too. the spaces to the side of the parking area were full.

  • 5/5

Cracking little park up right by the sea. Second time I’ve stayed here and both nights were peaceful. Public toilets open around 0730 I believe. Costs £2.80 for the night now (unless you are lucky enough to get one of the road spaces then it’s free overnight!) Handy little walk into the town for good quality food, drinks and shops).

  • 5/5

Parked and stayed on the road overnight rather than in the car park. Easy access to public toilets. Great meal in local restaurant and a quiet night’s sleep. Plenty of dog walkers in the morning but all locals very friendly. Would park here again.

  • 5/5

Arrived with my son early evening, walked along the front to buy fish and chips, paid £5 for 2 hours parking, a couple of dog walkers were parked. Took my son back to Uni and returned alone just after 9pm, paid £2.50 for 9pm to 8.30am, lovely peaceful evening, the dogs loved the direct access to the beach and I enjoyed a lovely morning paddle. First night in my van, perfect and felt safe

  • 4/5

Peaceful spot next to the beach. Managed to find a level spot. 2 bars signal on EE & o2 but internet was pretty quick and better during the day. Knocked a star off as parking is expensive during the day. Only us and 1 other van.

  • 5/5

Unassuming wee place round the back of the local swimming pool. Only a short walk to the beach, town or the harbour. Says it's £2 but the minimum payment in the machine is £2.50 Would definitely stay again.

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Lovely spot, very quiet overnight. Remember to park on the landward side.

  • 5/5

Brilliant spot, great view, toilets, drinking water and bins close by.

  • 5/5

Great car park - hour rates apply before 9pm and then an overnight fee (we parked on Marine Parade in the day and then moved here for the night) - good location (but is dark when returning at night so take a torch with you!) - very quiet - sign at entrance shows where you can park. Would use again.

  • 5/5

great spot easy access comfortable and right on the beach

  • 5/5

Fab location . I parked facing see in front of wall. Got a 50.00 ticket .. apparently these is some faint writing on the wall . You must park with van opposite the wall . Will challenge fine spoilt an otherwise lovely day

  • 5/5

Great overnight stay, so close to the beach with local pubs, restaurants & toilets nearby. Perfect overnight stay for £9.60 (we stayed from 18.00 to 10.30)

  • 5/5

Really lovely spot! We arrived fairly late and parked behind another car on the short concrete wall side only to wake up and see very faint no parking notices! Whoops! Anyway around £2.20 for the night, lovely cafe a minute walk away with public toilets.

  • 4/5

Good parkup. Plenty of space on a Sunday night. Signage shows different information regarding overnight charges, so we went with the RingoApp for ease of use.

  • 5/5

It’s great. Just to advise. The nearest loo is to your right if your facing the sea beneath the Bubble cafe. 300m max. The tap to top up your water is also there.

  • 5/5

A really lovely location, with only a few other vehicles present. Nice and quiet, a great view and just a few steps to the beaches! Quite a few dog walkers/beach swimmers from around 7:30/8am, but all the locals were really friendly.

  • 5/5

Exactly as stated. Nice and quiet and tucked out of the way.

  • 5/5

as stated £2 over night, great views, no problems :)

  • 5/5

Lovely view, well worth the money! Spent a night here, we were joined by two other Motorhomes but the area was lovely and quiet

  • 5/5

Nice spot on the sea. We parked on the street (2.20£ / h until 9pm). Public toilets right next to it. 15‘ walking distance to the town center. A hotel just behind the parking with drinks and spotless toilets. There is a bigger and nicer parking place just next to it with a barrier which closes in the evening. We were too late to drive in, so we stayed on the street overnight. Was alright as well.

  • 5/5

right on the beach, stunning views. we were the only van for 2 nights, felt safe and quiet. even a little outdoor shower next to the huts if you're brave enough. plenty of toilets around, although as mentioned many are closed overnight. easy enough walk into Whitstable, and only about 5 mins to the harbour market

  • 5/5

Brilliant find, on the sea wall, very peaceful night. Great for walk into the town for a food and drink. Bit expensive before 9pm at £2.30 an hour but worth it. Toilets a couple of minutes away, locked at 8pm open about 0730am

  • 3/5

Good location near center and harbour food market. Fantastic view and quiet at night IT is however too expensive during the day. (2.3/hour)

  • 5/5

Three peaceful nights sleep here - we were the only people there. A few walkers in the mornings along the beach but no one paid us any attention. Actually felt a little more secure for having paid the £2 overnight fee. We did see a traffic warden one morning so don't try to get away with it!

  • 5/5

Perfect spot for Whitstable and then coastal walk, free overnight, quiet and lovely sea views

  • 5/5

Great spot. Lovely view. Easy walk to town centre. Nice walk on the beach path. Dead quiet. Cheap overnight bit a bit pricey if you arrive early or leave late.

  • 1/5

Carpark closed with barrier - couldn’t get in at 10pm

  • 5/5

What a lovely spot - you can park right by the sea! If you need to top up your water, head down the seafront maybe a five minute walk to the east and there’s a standpipe on the beach.

  • 5/5

Great little spot if you want to sleep to the sound of waves, right on the sea front. Toilets near by were unfortunately closed. The Whitstable waterfront bar was open so we popped in for a pint and to use the loo! Lots of pubs and restaurants in walking distance. Park after 9pm for £2. FYI the car park is closed at the weekends April - October.

  • 5/5

Great little spot, beach just metres in front of you and a lovely level walk along the sea front. Public toilets also just a few minutes walk away. A couple of other vans there when I stayed too enhancing the recommendation!

  • 4/5

Great views as next to beach and quiet with public toilets nearby. Cheap overnight stay, but be aware that before 2100 you'll be paying £2.10 an hour.

  • 5/5

Stopped on a Tuesday evening in July. Good weather helped. Parking is level you just need to find the right spot. Views amazing, club balcony that over looks car park sells take away food. Use the RingGo app to pay for parking easily without finding change. Early morning swim essential. Dog friendly beach.

  • 4/5

Great view of the sea! Super quiet and safe and a toilet block really close by. Great spot for enjoying the beach and a morning swim! Highly recommend.

  • 2/5

Drove down to Whitstable for the weekend. Unfortunately this car park is closed over the weekends from April to October.

  • 5/5

    Fab, stop for the beach.

  • 5/5

Excellent spot. We stayed mid week peak season and seemed very quiet which given its proximity to the town is amazing. Beautiful views from the cab and the beach is the other side of the car park. There’s a launching jetty with a tap which could fill a Jerry can if needed. Prices a little spurious but similar to past posts arrived at 1840 and £8 saw us to 1000 the next day, £2 overnight charge.

  • 4/5

Lovely sea front parking spot. 9pm -8.30am only £2. You will have to pay more if you arrive earlier. We were here midweek and we were the only people who stayed here.

  • 5/5

Arrived around 6:15 and machine was confusing so paid £8, which you can do wirelessly, to see what happened. Ticket says I have to leave at 9:45am tomorrow. Considering the location and proximity to the town that's a bargain! It's a Sunday night so quiet here now. Update no noise overnight and toilets and water refill point 200 yds away along beach. Great spot ?
