Beau parking en bas. Juste à côté de la belle forêt où de nombreux cerfs errent. Juste à côté de la route principale mais assez calme. Beaucoup d'espace ?

Lovely car park on the doward. right next to beautiful woodland where numerous deer roam. just off the main road but quiet enough spot. plenty of space ?

Schöner Parkplatz am Doward. Direkt neben einem wunderschönen Wald, in dem zahlreiche Hirsche umherziehen. Direkt an der Hauptstraße, aber ruhig genug. viel Platz ?

Not great for level parking but nonetheless was a lovely place to stay overnight. Lots of dog walkers and great walks to complete. No amenities. Good WiFi signal. Best thing was waking up to birdsong.

unfortunately it now has a sign for no overnight stay, but it is a beautiful spot . I still stopped over. no bins though

Beautiful spot, car park for woodland walk. The car park is on a slope but manageable. Very quiet although lots of dog walkers in day light hours, at night you'll probably have the car park to yourself. Definitely recommend as a stop over!

Great day park free nice walks and quiet ?

I stayed here last night (a Thursday at the end of August) and it was completely empty. It is the car park for a lovely walk but there are no lights so it really is pitch black at night. Great spot but I don’t think any of the spaces are level, I was definitely on a slant but it was fine for one night. Free and no signs to say you can’t stay overnight.

Good hardstanding, quiet car park. Not much level ground.

Quiet car park, we didn’t see any signs regarding over night parking. Quite busy with dog walkers in the morning & right next to the woods. Close to the road but didn’t hear much.

Unfortunately new looking no wild camping or overnight staying signs. Also new looking fencing and gates, not sure if they close at night. We moved on.

Bit of noise from the road, few all campers showed up. If you’ve a smaller van and want to be more secluded I’d probably go to Miners Rest or Woodside Nature Reserve again, but there is a really nice walk down to symonds wat

Lovely spot very quiet and good walking which we enjoyed. Had intended to stay the night but the car park was to small for our 7.5m van and going in long ways meat the van was on a slope. So had to move pity on.

Great spot to park, we stayed over night and just fitted our LWB van along the right hand side as you came in. Lots of people during the day, dog walkers but no one else except one other van for the night. There’s a lovely walk and you can get all the way down to the river!
