We stayed on a Friday night. Very quiet. No issues. We had fine 4g. There is a toilet by the tower. Very pretty with the swans on the water. Surprised that there were no "no overnight" signs! Let's keep it that way by being good to the place. We picked up trash.
A pleasant parking site which is busy with dog walkers until dark and then you are on your own. Only services are rubbish bins. River is very attractive and for GOT fans - well………
Parking top sans aucune limitation de hauteur! Au bord du lac avec possibilité de promenade autour dans la forêt. Tables de pique-nique disponibles et une grande place en gazon pour jouer avec les enfants. De noter que sur la même route existe encore un deuxième parking. À 5 minutes de Winterfell, pour les passionnés de Game of Thrones! :)
Excellent overnight. people cleared out around 930p and all was quiet. people started coming in around 7a. Highly recommend.
Nice spot for a night, few level spots around the carpark. Quiet after 10, limited 4G service here. Lovely walk down to the old pier and back.
Standen hier eine Nacht. Ruhig, nur das Geschnatter der Enten ;-) Achtung, nur durch den ersten Zugang auf den Parkplatz fahren, der zweite eignet sich aufgrund der Rampe nur zum Rausfahren! Die Straße etwas weiter ist noch ein weiterer Parkplatz mit Hinweis auf einen GOT-Drehort.
Location wise, fantastic. We arrived around 10pm, one car parked in there but quickly left after they saw we were setting up for the night. People still walking along the river bank up until about 11pm. Quiet enough, safe enough. Bins and picnic benches on site, but as already stated, 4G is a disaster.
Parking lot along the river Quoile, second one as you head north along the road. 4G coverage, rubbish bins and picnic tables. Toilets 200m south at the 17th century tower house. Used by walkers, we were the only campers on a Saturday night, quiet and safe. Had to use blocks to level.
