As soon as we pulled up, an old man started to flash his head lights at us. we tried to stay here, we stuck it out for a few hours, but left around 11pm. to many cars coming in and out flashing headlights and god knows what else lol we would not recommend staying here!

Quiet. Often only van there at night so feels vulnerable. Had to leave tonight as I realised a man was standing just staring straight into my window just 2 meters away; Curtain was open as i was parked against trees but he was in the trees just boldly staring in as i dressed and continued to do so after i told him to go away and tried to close curtain. An unsettling experience in an isolated area.

Stopped for an hour to eat about 4.30 pm on a Friday. Constant stream of cars/vans with middle-aged and elderly men ducking into bushes and/or vans or looking into windows as they pass. Stay well away unless this is your thing.

Layby separated from the road, traffic noise is fairly quiet even the trains on the other side of the road. There was 1 other camper when we arrived and there's plenty of room. There were a few 'visitors' up until about midnight who parked next to a car for a few minutes. I suspect some funny dealings going on. Decent night's sleep once they moved on.

Nice quiet lay-by on the old road to Truro.
