Beautiful views,plenty of spaces,toilets and free all day. Sadly campervans can't remain after 6.30pm but we'll worth a visit.

Songaloo14/03/2023Very busy, but good place for daytime parking - motorhome restrictions from 6.30pm - 8.30pm - nice 20 min walk along the front into Whitstable.
Antonia3803/09/2022If you want peace and quiet then Tankerton is for you. Great views over the Thames estuary. When the tide goes out you can walk along the sand bank for a mile, seeing plenty of wildlife including starfish. You can walk down the slopes to the pebble beach. From here you can walk into Whistable or toward Swalecliffe and Herne Bay.

GooseandSwan07/06/2022Good spot to park for the day. 20 min walk along the foreshore into town. Ample space for large vehicles with no height restrictions. Toilets nearby.

Absolutely wonderful, sat here with an amazing view out to the sea, can spend all day here for free. Locals are so welcoming and friendly. Has been a wonderful day

Sign states no “motor caravans 6.30pm-8.30am” technically we are a “van with side window” so technically not in violation. For MH this is a good free daytime parking, if your lucky you might get into a side street round the corner which is free after 6.30pm
