I'm not sure if this is because it's out of season but there is now a height barrier and no signage regarding camper vans.
Il s'agit d'un parking pour camping-cars sur un terrain non goudronné à côté d'une arcade. Ils ont une inscription indiquant un parking gratuit pour les camping-cars. Il n'y a pas de barrière de hauteur (tous les autres parkings de la zone ont des barrières de 2 m). Vous avez accès au sentier pédestre / cyclable côtier. Il y a des snack-bars juste à côté du parking. Bien pour une journée.
This a campervan parking area on untarmaced ground next to an arcade. They have a sign up saying free motorhome parking. There is no height barrier (all other car parks in the area have 2m barriers). You have access to the coastal walking/cycling path. There are snack bars right by the parking. Nice for a day out.

Es gibt keine Höhenbarriere (alle anderen Parkplätze in der Umgebung haben 2 m Barrieren). Sie haben Zugang zum Küstenwander- / Radweg. Es gibt Snackbars direkt am Parkplatz. Schön für einen Tag.

AlexaBar01/06/2023Nach langer Suche eines Stellplatzes für große Wohnmobile sind wir hier fündig geworden. Es gibt ausreichend Platz zum Stehen und Wenden. Punktabzug, da etwas abseits von der belebten Strandmeile, aber gleich nebenan ist eine Spielhalle und ein Imbiss. Der Strand ist gleich neben der Straße.
steeth08/05/2022A bit further on there is a large car park on the right, next to the cycle track and cafes etc. We stayed and the barrier man said we would be OK to stay until the barrier was opened in the morning. Very nice gentleman.

As you approach you can’t miss the sign saying ‘NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING’... gutted but too risky for me to chance ... better finding a nearby estate to park on (which I did without any bother).
Davendy18/04/2021We stayed here Saturday 18/04/21 for 1 night as no signs stating no overnight parking but might be different once the arcades open up, really quiet apart from the odd train going past, great nights sleep was had.

We stayed over night during December. At the far left side, it's not lit and there are no signs saying to not park over night. 2m height restriction. It was quiet and we weren't bothered. You can also drive on the beach and park there overnight. But you must be under 1.9m. We couldn't fit by mm! If we let the tyres down a bit I bet we'd have got under!
