Le Blue Ball Inn - charmant pub / hôtel avec parking en face et ils m'ont permis de me garer pendant la nuit en échange de manger au pub. Ça valait le coup, la nourriture était superbe, l'atmosphère exceptionnellement accueillante, très accueillante pour les chiens et je me suis assis près d'un feu de cheminée. Les promenades dans la région sont spectaculaires. J'ai essayé le sentier côtier jusqu'à Lynton et j'ai emprunté l'incroyable funiculaire à eau, connu localement sous le nom de Cliffy, jusqu'au sommet de la falaise de Lynmouth, puis une promenade jusqu'à la vallée des rochers et remonter le chemin côtier, bien qu'il y ait une option plus longue via Watersmeet - au total environ 3 heures, y compris un arrêt de café. The Blue Ball Inn - lovely pub/hotel with car park opposite and they allowed me to park overnight in return for eating in the pub. Well worth it, the food was superb, the atmosphere exceptionally welcoming, very dog friendly and I sat by a roaring fire. The walks in the area are spectacular. I tried the coastal path down to Lynton and took the amazing water powered funicular railway, known locally as the Cliffy, up to the cliff top at Lynmouth, then a walk to the Valley of the Rocks and back again up the coastal path, although there’s a longer option via Watersmeet - all in all about 3 hours including a coffee stop. Call the pub before turning up and ask first out of courtesy

The Blue Ball Inn - schöne Kneipe / Hotel mit Parkplatz gegenüber und sie erlaubten mir, über Nacht zu parken, als Gegenleistung für das Essen in der Kneipe. Es hat sich gelohnt, das Essen war hervorragend, die Atmosphäre außergewöhnlich einladend, sehr hundefreundlich und ich saß am lodernden Feuer. Die Spaziergänge in der Umgebung sind spektakulär. Ich probierte den Küstenweg hinunter nach Lynton und nahm die erstaunliche wasserbetriebene Standseilbahn, die vor Ort als Cliffy bekannt ist, bis zur Klippe bei Lynmouth, dann einen Spaziergang zum Tal der Felsen und wieder den Küstenweg hinauf, obwohl es ihn gibt eine längere Option über Watersmeet - insgesamt ca. 3 Stunden inklusive Kaffeepause.
