Great location. Ignore the last comment, it is not blocked off and is fully accessible. Amazing views and a good park up. EE 4G signal available.

Zufahrt ist durch Felsen blockiert, keine Möglichkeit den Platz zu nutzen.

Wow… the view was spectacular. One other van and a lone camper on her first night on the Southern Upland Way. A very quiet night and stunning sunrise.

Absolutely amazing little find. States 8 spaces but due to the wet ground I would say only 4/5. Nether the less, beautiful and extremely quiet.

  • 4/5

    Impeccable mais beaucoup de vent.

  • 4/5

Windy, but nice. Watch your rear overhang on the edge of the bitumen. Check out the image of aeroplane on Google maps satellite view a few 100 metres south.

An extraordinary location. Single track road for 2 miles to get here. Note: follow signs for lighthouse. Absolutely zero O2 signal here though. No bins, no services.

  • 5/5

Lovely place, enough space for four or five campers. Can get down to the beach without much difficulty. Very picturesque with some very nice coastal walks.

  • 5/5

No services. Absolutely stunning location. It is worth the narrow roads!!

    Perfect and stunning!

Don't use post code, use Killantringan Lighthouse but definitely visit !! went on Friday just to see & we left Sunday lunchtime, awesome, so quiet, went for walks & swim in the sea, lovely views. really poor phone signal which was excellent lol. stock up with supplies & water coz you won't want to leave... 6*

We stayed here last night for one night. We were the only people here. It was absolutely beautiful, one of the most scenic park ups we have found yet, and so peaceful throughout the day and night!

    Juste magnifique. ❤️

Spot incroyable malgré ou grâce à un vent d’ouest régulier mais fort..une vue superbe et même une jolie plage qui permet de se rafraîchir à marée basse. A deux pas du phare. Superbe !

Adembenemend uitzicht! Een schitterende plek om te overnachten.

Great little secluded car park. on a wee bit of a slope but not really a problem. stunning views and just the sheep to keep u company.

  • 5/5

beautiful views including ferries to Ireland and some sail boats. short couple of walks either up to the lighthouse or down towards the water. Nice and quiet through the night, a fair few sheep about so don't be surprised if you wake hearing them. about 6 vans here with the potential space for another 1 or 2. we parked at a very slight angle but wasn't enough to feel it. would come here again

Firstly the postcode takes you to the wrong place you need to type in Killantringan Lighthouse and it takes you down a single track road over a few cattle grids to the parking area just before the lighthouse on the right.the views are spectacular with the sandy bay to the right and across to the coast of Ireland. quiet and peaceful. Portpatrick a few miles away to the left. decent 4G signal on EE

Lovley spot, fantastic views and quiet at night. A few walkers through the day but later in the day it is very, very quiet.

Stayed overnight 07/09/2021. Ignore comment about access. We made it easily in a 7.5m A class. Beware entry to the actual parking as there is a steep drop off where the tarmac finishes and if you have a long hangover you can lose part of your bodywork. Best to enter and leave via the rh side as you enter and lh side as you leave. See photo image.

Despite locking myself out of my van and waiting several hours for Green Flag to come help me. This was a great park up. Great views plenty of spaces it did get busy and some inconsiderate people using it sprawled out with outdoor furniture meaning others couldn’t park up. Some nice places to sit around the spot and the beach is beautiful. Phone signal comes and goes from one minute to the next.

Fantastic location near to a light house. Small car park and a very narrow lane to get here, I’d suggest anything larger than a transit van wouldn’t be wise to drive down the lane. Awesome views, even on a wild and wet august night.

  • 5/5

A lovely place to stay, we managed to drive the single lane road to the park up in our 7meter motorhome with no issues. The walk was ok down to the beach and when the tide was out it was stunning. Not a place I would like swim in as the jellyfish were rather large. Highly recommend this park up and on a clear day or night you can see Belfast in Ireland.

  • 5/5

Pretty much perfect! Arrived with views of Ireland and the Mull of Kintyre, at night we had the lights of Belfast! A peaceful night as the only van here. Sketchy 4G on Vodafone, but who needs it in a place as beautiful as this!

  • 2/5

Quiet enough. You may need levelling blocks depending where you park. I had NO 3G signal as well as barely any 4G. I had to turn tablet ON & OFF just to watch a bit of YOU TUBE.

  • 4/5

Recommended. Beautiful remote piece of coastline. Good beach at low tide. Parking surface is a little rough, avoid with low slung vehicles. We were the only ones there on arrival, day visitors in cars filled it the following morning.

Very lovely and quiet place where we stopped in last October. stunning views. lovely walk. perfect place to catch the sunset. no facilities can't wait to stop here again.

  • 4/5

Amazing view and quiet. Very exposed though so be careful in high winds! Arrive when light as the road downs a bit tight I’d you’re interested a larger mohome

The view is fab, I could t see it when I pulled up at all but it was such a treat in the morning. There’s no facilities of any kind but very private. Had a great albeit windy evening in my car.
