Parking gratuit entre 18h et 10h avec toilettes publiques et douches extérieures à quelques minutes au coin de la mer. Les toilettes ne sont pas ouvertes toute la nuit et je ne sais pas quelles sont les heures d'ouverture, mais elles étaient ouvertes lorsque nous sommes allés vers 9 heures du matin. La rue est assez plate et calme, nous avons donc passé de bonnes nuits de sommeil.
Free parking between 6pm and 10am with public toilets and outdoor showers just a few minutes around the corner on the seafront. The toilets aren't open all night and not
sure what the opening hours are but they were open when we went about 9am. The street is fairly flat and quiet so we got a good nights sleep.

Excellent spot for small campervans (T5 or Transit) but not wide enough for larger ones. Very quiet at night, and the bottommost spots are free all day (further up on the yellow line there is a time restriction). If the outdoor shower is not for you, there is also a pool on the other end of the promenade (didn’t try it though).
Parkplatz in einer Seitenstraße mit Blick auf das Meer (wenn man weiter unten steht). Nachts war es sehr ruhig und nur wenige Autos sind an uns vorbeigefahren. Wir waren mit einem T4 unterwegs, dadurch war es für uns nicht zu eng…. -die Toiletten hatten leider nicht auf.. die Duschen hätten allerdings genutzt werden können! (Dusche direkt an der Straße- ohne Kabine.)
Just stayed on this street for two nights. There are approx. 10 free parking spaces (all day) and parking on single yellow lines between 6pm and 10am. Ideal location for walking to the town
Für zwei Nächte und kostenlos in Ordnung. Direkt an der Straße und nah zum Strand. Das Städtchen ist schön zum spazieren. Für größere Mobile nicht zu empfehlen.
Stayed last night - a very windy Sunday in March . Nearest loos were closed for repair but others were 10 mins walk away. A very quiet night with no problems - we were the only van I think, with cars taking the other spaces . Would definitely recommend and will be back !!
Quiet in the shadow of a large hotel, close to toilets and shower, right on the beach, ideal for a campervan. Sidmouth is nice for a wander.
Not really suitable for larger motor homes, also no space even in October. Would be ok for T5 size.
Good spot to explore the town. There was only space for us slightly further up so we were on a slight hill. Thursday morning there was quite a lot of noise from what I assume was waste bin collection day.
Great spot. We like it so much we stopped here on our return, after staying 5 days earlier on our way further South. We were able to park in the last space before the seafront, so woke up to incredible views! Toilets (seemed to close at 11 and open at 8), 24/7 public beach showers and a cute little cafe selling pastries, coffees etc within 30s! Quiet after 11 and a comfortable night sleep.
Right on the beach and free, the sign is broken so no time restrictions but loud at night and not very secure
Beautiful spot just across from the seafront. Road is well used by locals (as it’s free) so was full when we first arrived in Sidmouth but free around 6pm. Lovely walk along the beach & a nice place to look around. Very quiet from 10:30pm onwards - definitely recommend!

Parked on the end closest to the sea front, woke up to the sunrise over the beach. No parking 10am - 6pm, no other signs with restrictions. Stayed 1 night arived around 7pm, no problems through out the stay.
Stayed here overnight, no issues with noise in the evening apart from loud bin men around 6-7am emptying all the hotels glass bins (very loud but honestly we didn’t mind much as we are up early and it may only be the day we stayed that they come)- around the corner is the beach, free outdoor showers and free drinking water and also toilets ! Perfect stop near the beach with all the added bonuses
Fantastic little spot to access Sidmouth. We pulled up quite late to sleep & parked down quite close to the waterfront. No restrictions at all. Stayed basically all day - no hassles. Restrictions from 10am-6pm only on part of the street.
