amazing pub, great food. more than happy for van lifers to stay the night.

Great for a stopover close by to the New Forest. Very friendly staff - note your registration down on a clipboard at the entrance to the pub. We had a drink, very reasonably priced and the menu had a big selection although we didn’t eat. Car Park is behind the pub, we have a 5.5m motorhome and parked no troubles. Arrive before pub close to register your vehicle. Would recommend.

we are staying here tonight 19-07-23 just got parked up. loged our reg in pub no problem. very friendly staff good pub food. I'm sure if more than 3 vans turned up it would be fine. only use parked for night at the moment. beer time !!!!

A very Happy, and helpful crew here at the Happy Cheese! Great atmosphere and lovely food. We loved our stop over here. A nice secluded area behind the pub, and the staff were really helpful and accomodating. Highly recommended!! Thank you Happy Cheese!

Ideal stopover for the new forest. No services but free to park in pub car park. Friendly staff, nice pub food, large quiet carpark. Ice cream parlour inside pub too. Entrance into the new forest from the corner of the car park.

Great park up. We stayed here for a night ahead of a Bank Holiday campsite booking. We just popped into the pub before parking to check it was OK to stay. Nice food and there is an ice cream parlour inside! Lovely to walk through the New Forest trails which you can access out the back of the car park. Near a busy road but very quiet overnight.

Safe and friendly. Other campers around who were very friendly and shared some great spots. Pub food is fine but there is great access to the new forest out the back. Gorgeous walks to be had!

What a find. Free parking, great pub, lovely staff. Just be aware you need to register your vehicle at the pub as there’s a warning notice of a fine if you use the car park without this. No services but you can walk in to the New Forest from the pub car park. Definitely use again

Lovely friendly place nice service food was ansum stayed in the lane overnight as we are 7.1m long and car park was pretty full so left enough space for everyone to get out will definitely eat and stay again

good overnight spot with ample parking. arrived on a Wednesday which meant the pub was packed for quiz night, also got blocked in by a truck from the garage next door in the morning, but a quick visit sorted it out. Pub has great food too.

Nice car park to stay in (it's up the side of the pub, not the small one between the pub and the main road). when I phoned to book the guy said he didn't think we could stay. But when we arrived and asked they were fine with it. Food was good.

We phoned ahead just to be sure we could stay and they said yes. We had a nice meal, good pub grub, and a few drinks. was very quiet overnight despite the nearby road. Would one back here again. Car park is very large so should always have space if you ask.

Lovely pub, epic burgers and a quiet night in the van. Great walks from the car park right in the new forest. A few cars started to turning up at around 730ish in the morning but other then that. Great place. Tried to call through first and was told they had no camping, but turned up and asked in the bar. More then happy to help.

Absolutely perfect spot behind pub. Use the toilets and get a great meal. Ask for Charlie she was so nice that the morning we woke up she brought us 2 coffees and croissants. Highly recommend calling to reserve a spot here! Enjoy the new forest!

Great place , we called ahead and asked if we could stay . No problem at all . Beer was cold food was good . I think next time I will park towards the rear as it’s by the road . Great spot though
