Directed hear by a traffic warden.
Suitable for large Van's.
Head past cricket pitch and barriers car park and park in The Bowls club carpark. Right next to the entrance to the Caravan and camping site.
You get your parking ticket from the machines in regular car park.
Furthest one takes cash or pay with app.
Very short walk into center of town with fantastic views of the Abbey.
I highly recommend this spot.

Very convenient park up. Some spaces larger than others. Reasonably priced. Would recommend for daytime only. As others have mentioned, the area is liable to flood with recent evidence.

  • 1/5

Currently under water due to heavy rain & river flooding. See added photo. Best avoid.

  • 1/5

no overnights here anymore shame, was a favourite

  • 3/5

We have stayed here before. But now not possible! Why ? Obviously Tewksbury doesn’t want the money we spend.

  • 5/5

Recently signs went up clearly saying no overnight stays. Ideal for daytime though.

  • 1/5

Signs all over saying no over night sleeping in motor homes etc

  • 3/5

It doesn't take long before something good gets taken away. Stayed over after the Malvern show as per £4 for 24hours to be told by the traffic warden on Sunday that you can park but not sleep. Warned us all that if he finds people sleeping he will issue a ticket. A county by-law by all accounts.

Perfect stopover. £4 for 24 hours. Right beside the Abbey and 1 minute to the centre of Tewksbury. Perfect spot.

  • 4/5

Great stopover right by the Abbey. £4 for 24 hours, several MH here on arrival but we got a space.

  • 5/5

wow fantastic £4.00 parking over looking the Abbey unfortunately no services on carpark but toilets in front of the Abbey,a overy calm night we will return.

Stayed in late March. Great spot and backs onto a big park, so ideal for dogs. We stopped off on our way back north from Cornwall and it was an ideal stop over. Would be good for a couple of day stop too.

  • 5/5

Beautiful place. Will not spend the night here but plenty of space. Big open Dog friendly fields 3 ft from parking. There is a no camping sign but so many campers parked here right now.

  • 4/5

A nice quiet spot next to the bowls club, a park & a caravan site. There is one sign saying ‘no camping’ but when we arrived there were already 4/5 campers there so thought it would be ok. As we arrived after 6pm we just paid £2 ( in the pay & display car park) to stay til 11am the next day. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent parking, no problem at all. We stayed three nights and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and excellent selection of architecture, eateries and friendly locals.

  • 5/5

Great stop, 5 mins stroll to town centre. we stayed 1 night and no issues.

  • 5/5

Good stop, there are loads of carparks in town but this one has loads of space. Stayed for two nights, the first night we were one of six campers, the second we were the only one. "No camping" signs have been put up along the fence but we didn't have any issues.

  • 5/5
