Planned to stop here overnight as the pub sounded great, however we were put off by the state of the carpark. Looked like a piece of industrial wasteland with old cars and builders rubbish strewn around. No reason to doubt the pub or welcome, though can't comment as we didn't stop.

Super vriendelijke dame achter de toog volop vriendelijke tips over de omgeving , gratis staan. Wel zo netjes (én gezellig) om een lekkere pint Cider te drinken (die we ook nog mochten voorproeven). Aanrader!

Lovely landlady. No food but good Guinness! There are takeaways close by. Ask about the canal for interesting walking.

Great little pub with friendly locals and top landlady. More than happy for people to park and couldn’t have been more helpful. Ordered me a takeaway and really looked after me. Quiet, level spot.

Really lovely lady at the pub. Does not serve food, but happy for you to bring food from elsewhere or order take away. There are public toilets in the village and at the garage, not sure if open at night. Pub is dog friendly.

One of the most wonderfully warm places ever. Tracy is blinding. I felt completely at home when walking into the pub on my own. Lovely vibe. Lovely lady. Highly recommended! Had a few drinks in the pub and now retiring to my van. Lovely!!

A very warm welcome from a real character of a landlady. Great beer, no food but the landlady was more than happy to order takeaway to the pub to eat in there. Much recommend for the atmosphere alone Call ahead, flat level cat park rear left.

No food but good pub just up the road called The Beaumont serving home cooked goodies. Good level car park near the river.

Great welcome from a larger than life landlady who was extremely helpful. Good range of beers and ciders. Although food was not on yet we were encouraged to eat a takeaway in the pub.
