un endroit hors du commun et tellement, le coucher de soleil est absolument sublime. et on peut également voir des Puffins sur la falaise ! un endroit exceptionnel !

Schöner Platz für eine Übernachtung. Liegt vor der Einfahrt und kurz vor dem offiziellen Parkplatz am Leuchtturm. Viele Besucher am Leuchtturm, entsprechend oft hat man die Autos über das Cattle Grid fahren hören. Ein sehr freundlicher Ranger kam am Abend noch vorbei um nach dem Rechten zu sehen. Er hat uns noch ein paar Hinweise gegeben und sogar unseren Abfall entgegen genommen.

Umsonst, direkt vor dem Durchbruch zum Parkplatz des Leuchtturm, fast level mit Blick aufs Meer nur etwas wenig windgeschützt. Standen dort alleine und ganz weit rechts um weit vom Boden Gitter entfernt zu stehen, dies ist recht laut falls doch mal wer drüber fährt. Von 22 Uhr bis etwa 9 Uhr absolute Ruhe. Würden jederzeit wieder dort stehen oder etwas weiter den Hang runter da war es auch schön.

Beautiful spot! Very windy, a bit down the road you're more protected but the view makes up for it. We came to spot the northern light but clouds and the lighthouse made it difficult :)

Great place 50m from the lighthouse. We arrived at about 9 pm and it is pitch dark. We can see lights twinkling in the distance and know this will be a fantastic view in the morning. Tonight we'll be looking for northern lights. Very exposed. No charge to park. One other car here. Room for another 4 or 5 vehicles. No over night parking in the light house car park but no signs here.

29/9/21 Another spot which couldn't be used because a VW T4 type vehicle was taking up two spaces because of saving one for his mate. In all the years we've been traveling in our van we have never come across this, we thought the vanlife community wasn't this selfish but two separate park ups in two different places on the same road in one night doesn't bode well for this way of life.

Excellent site, great views of the sea and the lighthouse, safe to walk the dog off lead nearby. Tarmac was reasonably level too. Four campers were here, plenty of room for others.

Such a beautiful spot arrived around 5pm lots of traffic in and out the lighthouse car park but the views make up for it just stunning the sun set is just beautiful

Left. Two, hire vans decided to, park 7cm away from our van we couldn't even get in or out. Left, too commercial with teens in hire vans squarking lighting fires despite signs. Won't be suprised if this site is another lost soon

Was one of 6 to be parked here for the night last night. lovely spot facing out to the sea. no bother nice and quiet and free

Views like none we’ve ever seen before! Lovely to explore the lighthouse area while the sun is setting. Very quiet, secluded and peaceful. Lots of other spots on the way up to this point to stop as well.

Very windy as close to a cliff edge( so careful with kids). puffins on the cliffs. when we stayed there were 5 campers( could squeeze in more). busy in day as tourists go to the lighthouse.

Great stop near to the lighthouse for one night. Take your gross baby wipes and loo roll with you though plz

Very nice spot 2 campers took over whole lay bay but after talking to them they made a space for us you can park 5 campervans here if you considered to others

This is Dunnet head. No facilities and merely a lay by at the top of a hill but INCREDIBLE views and incredible sunset. parking up in the shadow of a lighthouse was beautiful and to me this is a must. Spectacular views. No facilities. Peaceful. Once visitors finished for the day. Only birdsong. Absolutely beautiful.

Great spot. Parked up with 4 other motorhomes. Was a very windy but quiet night. Epic views and great sunset. I also hear if your lucky it's a good place for the northern lights. No such luck for us.

Parked here with 5 other Motorhomes so it fits 6 comfortably. Zero facilities, but good phone 4G coverage. There are bins in the nearby Lighthouse Car Park View is superb, worth walking the 300 metres to the viewing points at the lighthouse and up above (follow the fingerposts). Please leave no trace behind as its a beautiful free place worth preserving.
