Great place to park for night, flat and quiet. lovely view.

In der Nebensaison tagsüber leer, Nachts absolut ruhig. Waren zusammen mit 2 anderen Campern vor Ort. Parken direkt am Strand. In 15 min zu Fuß sind Tropea.

We're here in middle of June 2020, very quiet, especially at night, as the bar is still closed in the off-season. The few locals we have spoken to are friendly and the access is easy. Reasonably clean area, with bins on one side.

We arrived at 9pm to a nearly empty parking area. The “friendly” owner of this bar approached us and started to tell us that he won’t allow any campers to stay here anymore because past people were “arrogant”. He said although we seemed like nice people, he can’t let us stay. He then went on to say that he has had to chase “arrogant” people out of his parking lot with a rifle. The man was obviously drunk, and after my wife told him we were tired and asked him if we could just stay and leave very early, he became aggressive, started to yell and slammed his hands on the driver door, staring at me in the eyes in a threatening way and then went off screaming around the parking lot. I remained quiet and respectful the entire time, never provoking him. Needless to say, we left immediately. I am happy this happened before we decided to start sleeping. If he came up to the van aggressively like that while we were sleeping and vulnerable, it would have been difficult to remain quiet.

Une personne est venue nous déloger vers 22h. Il nous a dit de se mettre dans l'allée d'accès. Mais, pas mal de passage bruyant, voitures qui klaxonnent en passant devant le camping-car. Quelqu'un a essayé d'ouvrir notre porte. Pas vraiment le bon plan en saison.

Nous stationnons, gratuit (jour + nuit), très tranquille, profitons de la plage. 15 minutes à pied des escaliers qui montent dans la vieille ville. Peut-être plus difficile en pleine saison

Redelijk druk overdag met badgasten. Parking blijkt eigendom van eigenaar naastgelegen strandtent. Geeft toestemming om te overnachten. Stelt een consumptie op zijn terras op prijs als tegenprestatie ;)

Great place to park for free quiet at this time of year. Nice beach and clean sea. Man on scooter comes to sell fish. I spent a few hours clearing plastic off the beach. Great laundry and toilets in harbour. Restaurant owner very nice man.

Nice place. Quiet at night. Beautiful beach, no service. Bought fish from a fisherman riding on a scooter, it was fresh and tasty. Trash at the beach, typical Italy.

I was here in the middle of january, very quiet just a few cars every now and then but no one bothered us. Beach bar definately not open

Toen wij hier waren op 4 september, stond het helemaal vol met auto's en wij konden er niet bij. We zijn op een ACSI camping in de stad gaan staan voor 13 euro.

Great place for one night definitely. A bit bussy in night due to high season I guess. There was some local guy from the bar who probably secure the object but he just watch us for a while bit didn’t complain that we can’t stay. Thanks for the spot!

Super miejsce.

Great little spot. stayed just 1 night but a French couple had been there 4 days ans no problems. Bar was closing for the season. Man on beach selling fresh fish caught that morning from his little yellow boat.

Beautiful spot, but now there is a beach bar which does close at around 6 (october) but the owner was there until very late and kept talking on his loud speaker and tooting his horn this was around midnight... We got the impression he doesn't like people staying there, but the car park is public so he can't do anything. I would recommend parking away from his bar and enjoy :)

Nice spot right on the beach. Quiet out of season.
