Very busy but did the job! Plenty of other vans

Very reasonably priced, considering it’s the only real car park on the island. Yes there are big potholes, so do most rural car parks in the UK. Short walk to all the island’s attractions and lots of signs indicating tide times for the causeway.

  • 5/5

huge car park with loads of space for motorhomes. follow the guidance for tide times to safely cross the 2 lane causeway.

  • 2/5

Huge queue to get parked, people turning back. However there’s a grass verge just before the car park entrance so we and a few others parked here for free, no Signs or anything so I’d say do this, it’s a five minute walk into the town which is breathtaking. No overnight stays allowed because the sea covers the road at high tide.

Fine car park for exploring the Island. Price increased to £5 for 3hours, £6 for 4hr..... This is the main car park for the island and not really many other options to park. Car park is plenty big enough but is on grass. No overnight stays allowed anywhere on the island. If your lucky enough you can park in a small layby before the island and walk across. Check tide times

Large grassed area, no facilities or overnight parking. Short walk in village £4.50 for 3hrs, £7 for 24hrs (shame council won't let you park overnight despite paying for it). Motorhome tend to stay at rear of the carpark, enough room for everybody. Would recommend.

Lovely place to visit but cannot stay overnight anywhere

This marker is showing the location to be in the big grass car park on Holy Island. There are signs as you come onto Holy Island (Lindisfarne) saying no camping, campervan or motorhome overnight stays allowed anywhere on Holy Island.

We couldn’t find this. Everywhere was very clear no overnight stays.

  • 5/5

3.5t max restriction, no over night camping, however, i’ve seen twin axle motorhomes here and over night stays.
