Superb overnight stay, no facilities as Flossie's shack toilets were out of order. A gentle breeze kept the midges at bay, the sunset was outstanding and we were the only campers at the end of the world.

  • 4/5

Stunning spot with a good deal of space - we arrived around 17.30 and there was still room . £10 per night for a motorhome which can be paid in the honestly box or via app. The only downside is the midges are horrendous here!

  • 5/5

Fantastic views and hikes possible. Toilet was not in use. We could not find where to pay.. the lighthouse is beautiful. The route towards here is great. One of our favorite spots in Scotland. There are spots for 10-12 motorhomes

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Lovely spot. Quiet & at the end of a road so no passing traffic. Great views. Some midges but the breeze helped with those. Plenty of space for a good 10 vehicles. Gorgeous views to wake up to.

  • 5/5

Great stay, £5 in the honesty box with your vehicle registration. Quite a few other vans but everyone spaced out. Woke up to brilliant views and a walk to the Old Man of Stoer!

  • 4/5

    Great place

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Very nice spot with amazing sunset view. Toilets are closed for a while apparently. Donation with honesty box are asked (£5 for a van).

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Great little spot to overnight in the campervan with amazing sunset views over the ocean, so off the beaten track that you could have it all to yourself if you get lucky.

  • 5/5

Parked up 11 October ‘22, just 1 other campervan parked for night. Very windy, but good night sleep, no problems. Lots of Aberdeen Angus cows about, sheltering on lee side of van in morning! Wonderful night stop!

  • 5/5

Good place with fantastic view, no facilities, keep it clean !!!

  • 5/5

Calme. Le lendemain magnifique rando jusqu' au old man.

  • 4/5

In our 7.5m RV & Came to see the lighthouse & walked the 3km to Old man Stoer with our 2 labs who loved the walk ! Stunning views. Saw 1 seal & lots of birds and sheep ! Decided to stay the night as such a beautiful area.. No facilities, Very quiet.

  • 5/5

Lovely view, saw dolphins. £5 for a small campervan. Still no toilets unfortunately. Woke up to cows right outside the window.

  • 3/5

Had a peaceful nights stay here. Car park is fairly level. Beautiful view of sunset from lighthouse. Signs all along the road on the way up state livestock worrying carries a £1k fine and a sign by the car park states 5 dogs were shot last year - very welcoming. As mentioned £10 donation for campervans to park overnight, we stayed in a beautiful spot the previous night with services for £10??

  • 5/5

  • 4/5

Toilets close. No waste bins here. Stay 1 night - alone. Payment possible via Paypal.

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

Good level place to park with lovely walk over the cliffs to Old Man of Stoer sea stack. toilets closed because of mis use.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot to spend the night. No facilities so you must be self-contained. Parking is free in the day but £10 to stay overnight. You can pay via PayPal which is quick and easy. Maximum stay is 24 hours. Exposed place so expect to have all the elements thrown at you! The coastal walk to Old Man of Stoer is fantastic. We had a great night / day with no bother and amazing views.

  • 5/5

Excellent location if you like remote wild park ups. We stayed 01/01/22 on a very windy night. Luckily we're not light sleepers as the carpark is very exposed. You can walk to the Man of Stoer along a coastal path. Very boggy but well worth it. Took just over an hour there and back. Toilet is out of use due to our being misused in the past which is a shame

  • 5/5

Lovely Spot but toilet is still closed so don't rely on that. Plenty of Seals and Birds to be seen.

  • 5/5

Fab view and super quiet. One other camper at this spot and got busy in the morning. £10 donation for stay was paid via PayPal which was on the sign next to the out of order toilet. Would recommend to anyone.

  • 5/5

Outstanding view, great value at £10 for the night. Got cell reception when I walked us towards the lighthouse. Great walk along the cliff to the Old Man of Stoer. Fun to watch the climbers!

  • 5/5

Lovely spot. Toilets are free (composting toilet but fine, not much of a smell at all). £10 for the night which gets collected in the evening.

  • 5/5

My favourite spot on the NC500! Spectacular views right on the coast and a 5 min walk from the Stoer lighthouse. Runs on a donation box £5 for a camper van, £10 for a motorhome. Comes with a easy to use compostable toilet. Got busy in the morning but was quiet enough in the eve! Lovely spot and one not to miss!

  • 4/5

Brilliant views, apparently good for whale watching but sadly didn't see any this time around. Compost loos with donation box. space for loads of vans but quiet once the sun goes down

  • 5/5

Lovely spot with great views. £10 donation for a campervan which can be cash in a box or on PayPal. There is signal. Composting toilet is smelly but fine and free. Other spots that are on app nearby I would say aren't spots anymore as lots of no unauthorised vehicle access signs. The tea van was closed and looks very closed when we were here.

  • 5/5

Cracking little spot! £5 for campers or £10 for a motor home. Very friendly lady came round early evening time to collect money. Great views of sunset, seals, porpoise in the water etc. Composting toilet facilities onsite as well.

  • 4/5

Nice stay. £10 charge and a lady comes and gets it from you. toilets open is a composting toilet and very smelly.

  • 5/5

Bester Schlafplatz!

  • 5/5

Beautiful location with a lot of space for parking and a free working toilet (very rustic). You are asked to pay £10 for motorbikes and £5 for tents and small vans and someone’s does actually come and check if you did. It’s a popular spot so expect other campers.

  • 5/5

Amazing views, toilet in full working order. £10 donation made. ? Quite a few other campers there with us.

  • 5/5

This place is to die for! make sure you stay here as its so lovely and there's a very quirky compost toilet which is a lifesaver. This is part of the donation you make to stay there but its very clean. We did the walk from THE STOER LIGHTHOUSE - THE OLD MAN OF STOER. 1.5 hour round trip but a lovely walk with beautiful views. staying here and doing the walk was a definite highlight to our trip

  • 5/5

Fantastic view and toilet available. £10 donation requested.

  • 4/5

Nice spot, although very busy! We just parked for the day to walk to The Old Man of Stoer. Would have stayed the night as I usually pick spots where I can make a donation, but I'm not sure of the logic of charging motorhomes twice as much as cars/vans/campers (as per the sign - £10 & £5 respectively), given that motorhome users are less likely to need to use the toilet there!

  • 5/5

Stayed there on 29/05/21. Got collared by the lady collecting £10 donation on the way up, wouldn’t even let me up to the free spot beforehand. Anyhow great views, lovely sunset and a toilet so was well worth the £10

  • 5/5

Nice views. Quiet place to park, 2 other campervans parked up down the road. Very windy the night we stayed. Plenty of space for more vehicles. Toilets charged 50p but the door/lock was broken so couldn't use these. Felt safe.

  • 4/5

Nice spot with lovely views and a working toilet which costs 50p. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that we were asked to pay £5, and I don't really know what that was for since toilet was extra? no other services. limited phone signal, quite windy unless you get the spot by the wall

  • 4/5

£5 a night, no facilities but worth it for the sunset alone! warden came round early evening to leave payment reminders on your windscreen if you hadn't paid and intended to stay overnight. Very quiet spot

  • 1/5

Flossies has no toilets at this location. The toilet is operated by the crofters trust

  • 4/5

Nice place to stay at night and once the walkers have gone your left with just the overnight campers/motorhomes. we stayed in Sept about 10 campers there. Toilets out of order with no notice!! warden came around about 6pm. There is a box to put £5 into and leave your reg and date. plenty of room though and a great view.

  • 3/5

Certainly is a pretty spot but you are paying £5 to stop on the side of the road. The toilets still cost 50p to use, or if you're like us, you tried it twice and the door still didn't open.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Lovely stop, a bit exposed if it’s windy but the most lovely sunsets. There are toilets and an honesty box. Stayed overnight and rested peacefully. Space for around 15 vehicles. Busy during the day. Still at night.

  • 5/5

Amazing views, loads of space for vehicles, there was a compost toilet to use which needed a 50p coin to open. Great walk to the old man of Stoer (about 1 hour 30/1 hour 45 round trip).

  • 5/5

Brillant parkup, toilet latch is a bit fiddly but it works, £5 donation at the toilet for parking. great area to see sea birds!

  • 4/5

Brilliant night stay, quiet and peaceful, fanstaic views, some great walks, toilets are 50p , no bins and a lady comes round 8pm to collect £5 for overnight stay. all in all brilliant.

  • 3/5

Very nice view but it was very crowded when we were there, so arrive early to secure a nice view if you intend to spend the night there.

  • 5/5

An extraordinary view. my favourite stop to date! a woman came by and told us we had to pay £5 to park over night. more than happy to but also not really sure if she was an official person. we had our two dogs and enjoyed many walks around here. quiet and a few campers around too. toilet was open but you need 50p to go in.

  • 5/5

Lovely place to park up, there’s a suggested donation for the community to maintain and upkeep the parking area. Locals very welcoming.

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

Great spot to overnight by the sea, although it was extremely windy when we stayed. Toilets are only open when the tea shack is open, (if I remember correctly the tea shack is open 10:00 - 17:00 sun - thurs), toilets cost £1 for first use and 50p thereafter. We were the only ones staying the night so was very peaceful, but in the morning lots of people turned up to start the walks.

  • 5/5

A vivement conseiller

  • 5/5

  • 4/5

Good stop, there's an honesty box for overnighting and a toilet. Plus a little cafe. Beware the owner of the mobile cafe, can be OTT on parking, will tell you, sometimes forcefully where to park, fine but could be more polite. Apart from her, there's good walks and it's a good stopover.

  • 5/5

Juste extraordinaire!!! :-D
