Lovely spot. We parked up for the afternoon. Not great phone signal and loud with the road, as others have said. Not suitable for over night unless you have heavy duty ear plugs.
Parking le long de la route entre le grand lac et petit lac (reserve de oiseaux). route passante mais pas dérangés. un autre camion était stationné comme nous pour la nuit. petit magasin a proximité.
Parking along the road between the large lake and small lake (bird reserve). busy road but not disturbed. another truck was parked like us for the night. small store nearby.
Parken entlang der Straße zwischen dem großen See und dem kleinen See (Vogelschutzgebiet). viel befahrene Straße, aber nicht gestört. Ein anderer Lastwagen war wie wir für die Nacht geparkt. kleiner Laden in der Nähe.
Aparcamiento a lo largo de la carretera entre el lago grande y el lago pequeño (reserva de aves). Carretera transitada pero no molestada. otro camión estaba estacionado como nosotros por la noche. pequeña tienda cercana.
Parcheggio lungo la strada tra il lago grande e il laghetto (riserva ornitologica). strada trafficata ma non disturbata. un altro camion è stato parcheggiato come noi per la notte. piccolo negozio nelle vicinanze.
Parkeren langs de weg tussen het grote meer en het kleine meer (vogelreservaat). drukke weg maar niet gestoord. een andere vrachtwagen stond net als wij voor de nacht geparkeerd. kleine winkel in de buurt.

VroniChris01/08/2022You can sleep here if you don’t have other options. There cars driving by and you’re whole van jiggles. So it’s really noisy and not really comfortable. Rather go somewhere else.

Good spot for a night’s stay. I stayed on a Monday and it was fairly quiet overnight. Light sleepers be warned, towards the centre of the lay-by there is a constant rush of water between the lake and mill pool. As well as that, the local geese were rather vocal at dawn. Noise aside, this was a lovely little spot and I’d happily stay again next time I’m in the area.

Here we are again! still perfectly fine spot with New Manor Farm shop for toilets, bottle refill and local produce. there is also a bin on the bridge and an icecreamvan. the road is quite busy but we don't mind it that much. it is wide enough to feel safe. lovely sunset!

A very spacious layby in between 2 lakes where we had a great night sleep. the road gets quiet around 9 until the morning. the nearby New Manor Farm is lovely for local organic produce and they have a cafe and toilets too. there are some public footpaths around as well, although some bits need to be walked along the road which isn't always great.

As said, it is a slightly wider than normal lay-by on the side of a busy road. The traffic definitely reduced after 10pm and the views of the lakes are lovely. Plenty of room for several vans.
