Open car park near the fort,. We didn’t have a good feeling when we arrived but it was late so we stayed. Frequently visited by cars all through the night, cars waiting, parking, driving in and out, assuming this is a place people come for a fun time?. Didn’t feel particularly safe. Saying that nobody bothered us.
Pleasant looking car park however the annual hill climb race takes place each April. Was this weekend and car park used in the races...all taped off with tyres and hay bales everywhere. Several cars practising as well. Probably why cars race up and down road when no events on. So avoid beginning of April and park towards the back at other times. Suggest ear plugs. We moved on to another area.
I have rated this against what I expected to find there. Nice park up near the Fortress. Would certainly use again.
Nuit calme. Personne sur le parking.
Pas de discothèque en semaine mais des gens qui viennent faire vrombir leurs moteurs, faire des runs et cela jusqu'à plus de minuit, en dehors de ça très calme le jour et le reste de la nuit.
Not bad for day parking, maybe some nights during the week are ok too but not Saturday - extremely loud music from the nearby disco.
