Super freundliches Personal. Das Essen war lecker und neben dem Kamin war es sehr gemütlich.

Rang ahead, closed on a Thurs. Food lovely, open fire. Room for 2 high campers as there is now a height barrier but could park close by. Friendly staff and locals, enjoyed our stay here. Under new management since the summer 2023

Clear route for the south wales coastal path and RSPB Wetlands nearby. Happy for you to parkup if you have a drink/buy food. 9 great vegan options for us.. Standard menu looked great too, the couple nearby have steaks and starters and they couldn't finish it all. they don't have water or electric hookup available but are unable to update this page. Call pub via Google number here wrong.

looks lovely but we called to stay over on sept 22 and temporarily closed is written on the window. So not open

Nice pub with friendly staff, great food and a small quite car park. I had a meal with a drink and had no problems staying.

Didn't stay the night as no food available on Sunday nights; had tried to ring to book but they have changed numbers. Parking area to the side suitable for motorhomes now has height barrier and parking in front of Pub is difficult for longer outfits. Pity, as vegan menu looked fantastic. Dogs only allowed in Bar area. Newport Wetlands just down the road.

friendly staff gave permission to stay overnight on the gravel Parking lot after purchasing a drink and a meal.

pub très sympa qui ferme à 23h mais n'ouvre qu'à 2h30 donc pas de petit dej mais des repas du midi et du soir. parking pour dormir très calme à côté d'un champs et quelques moutons.super étape OK ça

Barriers now installed after a problem with Travellers, the staff will open them for motorhomes. This pub is under new management, a former employee since the 6th July. They are still allowing overnight stays in the carpark. I wish Lauren all the best with her new business venture.

Seems like an ok spot, but when I got there at 8ish on a Sunday eve there was nobody around and pub closed. Felt a little spooky so decided to move on and parked up somewhere on other side of the Severn estuary instead in Portishead :)

Great stopover. Pub had a good atmosphere, home cooked food was delicious and staff super friendly. If the height restriction barrier is up for the car park you just call or go in and ask staff who will open it for you. Very peaceful nights sleep. Lovely walk from the car park through the fields to RSPB Newport Wetlands for a nice cafe, wildlife and sea views.

A country pub car park which was just a bit too overcrowded for us. Approx 20 motorhomes, campers and caravans had taken over and were crammed in. Pub otherwise friendly and food nice. We are just unsociable and don't want to see next door eating their cornflakes at 9am on a Sunday. There was an artist that night which could explain the amount staying. Might be quieter on a weeknight.

A recommander fortement !!! N'hésitez à venir ici campingcariste en galère dans la zone de Cardiff.

Le ravitaillement en eau nous a été refusé, impossible disent ils, pas de robinet extérieur. Il est possible qu’il y ait de nouveaux gérants à l’auberge

lovely spot for a stop off overnight. Landlord was lovely, although we were too late for for food but he told us where we could go and how to get there. No facilities as it is a car park. although we did find a poo bin for the dogs.

Arrived here, lovely local pub, we did not try them but they had loads of lovely looking deserts/cakes. Hard level car park and it’s next to a children’s park which was very useful. We had a couple of drinks and the staff were really friendly.

Peaceful night. Level hard standing. Pub nice and friendly (we didn’t need to eat there so just had drinks are they were happy to let us stay - we offered to pay for overnight but they said it wasn’t necessary ! ) great truck stop cafe 1.5 miles away for huge cooked breakfast (Newport truck park, Nash Mead)
