Opposite Riverside Inn. Near to Marina and nice walk alongside river bank. Well used by M-Hs. Would suggest only stay one night and leave early.

This is private land and there should not be any overnight parking. Steps will soon be taken to restrict access. The rubbish litter and noise impacts on the local community.

Really a fantastic spot plenty of spaces next to the river. Excellent menu at the Farndon ferry and and welcoming pint at the riverside inn. Unfortunately our neighbours had awful graffiti scratched into their MH of of 3 days. I really feel so sorry for them, such a nice couple.

Brilliant stop. About 6 there Friday night. Three pubs within easy walking distance with good food. Many nice walks by the river. The Dutch people next door were swimming in the river. Lots of overflow parking from the pup. Some of it not too. considerate. Big fishing spot. Emptied out about 9pm as dusk fell and people had eaten if you have trouble getting in earlier.

Arrived on a Thursday night, it was a bank holiday, so quite busy. Early evening the car park cleared, just myself and two other Motor homes. This is a beautiful park up, on the banks of the river Trent, parking area is grassed and nicely looked after. No parking or height restrictions.I will certainly stop here again.

Stayed here on a Thursday night absolutely awesome place to park, They were 6 other campervans all here and it was a very peaceful night. we would definitely go back again.

Lovely spot. 2 nice pubs didn’t eat but looked nice. Another 6 vans here but still very quiet and we are well spaced out.

Popular with walkers and some fishermen. The carpark isn't large and does get busy during the day. We found evidence of irresponsible visitors, rubbish left (which we picked up) scorched grass and even discarded coals. The main carpark is tarmac but what appears to be an overspill is grass and dirt. I would recommend but it shouldn't be treated like a campsite.

Wouldn't recommend . Very tight area even for our 6 metre van. Muddy and uneven unless you park in the busy pub car park.

Only the car park belongs to pub the riverside and grass area is parish council and the villagers are getting very irate at the amount of vans on their land spoiling grass etc not really a park up in my opinion

Quiet night. Great for a one night stop over. Some fishermen and dog walkers with no issues. Two nice restaurants nearby. We didn’t park on grass as raining heavily but parked in gravel car park.

Good spot and The Riverside pub serves a good meal. We had to park on the grass but after a very dry spell it was fine.

Lovely peaceful site when we arrived plenty of room and right on the river. had a take away from the pub which was ok and very reasonable. however the night was marred by the selfish night fishermen who turned up at 10pm and then tore about in a motorised dinghy in the dark shattering the peace. they then talked loudly and swore into the small hours. not great :(

Excellent stay-over, lovely walks and cycle ride into Newark. Decent pub "The Riverside" and bar and bistro "Farndon Ferry". Also nice pub "The Rose and Crown" 2 minutes walk away. Would definitely go there again.

Nice quite spot stayed one night will visit again, some camper vans and also tents food near by great dog walks around the nature reserve toilets on carpark but looked dirty from the door way !

Stopped one night, 6 MH's over night, smashing location. Local youths dumping rubbish out of cars and very crowded near river side. Quietens down later.

We were the only van on a Monday night, we enjoyed a drink in the Riverside bar and a peaceful night sleep. Very nice spot.

Could not stay in the location pictured due to mud. However there is a gravel based carpark right beside these 'pitches' in which we arrived late, stayed overnight and got breakfast in the riverside bar. (from 10am onwards). Quiet night and not bothered by anyone

Risk of flooding in very wet weather as it was when we parked up, the car park is used by cannabis smoking locals who turned up in cars and vans, over the space of 3 hours 3 cars and 2 vans on speaking to local dog walkers it is a known problem. We were advised to go 400 meters up the road to the Rose and Crown which we did and stayed over on the car park we had a meal and a couple of pints.

Llegamos a las 2 de la madrugada y solo habían dos furgos. una en el césped y otra en el parking de asfalto. sitio muy chulo pero muchos mosquitos. ideal si te encaja dormir por la zona.

Super Spot. Excellent Pub. Bien dormi. Les parkings était occupé à l'arrière, mais ça bouge très vite. N'oubliez pas de produits anti moustiques !

Très bel endroit bucolique sans service au bord d une rivière et sans moustique. Balade à faire dans les environs. Petite marina à proximité. Nuit calme. Emplacement à l ombre possible pour les vans

Arrived on good friday and found a reasonable spot to easily park, though found 2 better spots facing the lake after walking back from the pub for a quick drink in order to use the toilets. Very quiet and lovely to wake up by the river. Was surprised to see one person who stayed overnight putting up a gazebo as if staying longer which made us wonder if it was a pay site? will definitely stay again

Medium sized car park next to canal marina. pub across the road. Quiet in evenings but popular with walkers during the day so noisier in mornings. quaint little town. flat ground. no amenities.

Beautiful setting and lovely walk from marina through woodland trust and fields. the Marina pub served very filling tasty food with excellent friendly service_ great place for a stopover and no trouble parking _ toilets closed but imagine you can use marina pub

Les wc sont fermés et il n'y pas de commodité mais la petite auberge juste en face du parking sert de bons fishs and chips. Lieu assez tranquille avec plusieurs places de stationnement (3 ce soir)

Petit parking à côté d'auberges. Trés fréquenté dans la journée mais calme la nuit. Pas de service. Jolie balade le long de la rivière et marina. Assez loin du centre ville.

Arrived on a Thursday night and parked easily. Very quiet and lovely to wake up by the river. Imagine this car park would get very busy during the summer months and we even came back to the location on the Friday night and it was full and unable to park

Endroit plus que magnifique, mais malheureusement les WC sont fermés depuis le15 Septembre. // Beautiful spot as ever but sadly WCs closed 15 September 15.
