Lovely site with friendly farmer. There is a longdrop, you can get water at the farm. We payed 4£pP, kids for free

First weekend away in our new van and we found the best possible spot. Beautiful flat field shared with sheep and lambs, a stream running alongside, surrounded by hills perfect for a walk. Ignore the negative review below, it almost put us off, but I’m so glad we chose this spot anyway. Friendly farmer, happy to point out some nice walks and yes only £6 pp.

Directions: from south you'll see the campsite on right by river. Turn right behind Half Moon Pub & then 2nd right behind pub through gate into the field (first right takes you into pub yard). Mr Farmer will come & collect his money. Road north of Llanthony is a nightmare - be warned!

Nice location. Used to be a good site but the owner has become greedy. The price has gone up to £10pp/night, doubling in the space of just over a year. No facilities. There’s cheaper field further up road, with facilities, next to a ruined Priory…

Late to review, visited a few months back, It was near entirely light pollution free, nice spot for stars, friendly farmer who showed me where to drive and set up camp, very quiet place, no signal so make sure you've got an idea of where you're going before last minute checking your phone haha. highly recommend for a quick get away, extremely close to black mountain downhill bike park.

Beautiful setting in a valley next to a stream. You get to share the field with sheep! There is a small sign next to the gate. Our money (£5 pp) was collected in the evening. Narrow lane on approach from both north and south (although better from the south/Abergavenny direction).

About 1 mile before llantony priory. just a field next to a river. plrnty of space and flat. about 15 other campers. Good access for cars and vans. Camp fires allowed if off ground. £5pppn farmer very welcoming.

Keep an eye out for the gate as easily overlooked and no signs. No phone signal in the valley. £5 pp/night collected by the farmer in the morning.
