Busy but nice spot with benches and bins. Fishing spots past the point/no take zone and good snorkelling directly in front of the parking area.
Ughy14/08/2023Nuit très tranquille avec une vue magnifique. Petite ballade (10mn) jusqu’à une pointe où nous avons pu observer 3 phoques. Merci de laisser l’endroit propre, il y a des poubelles sur place.
Lovely parking lot for about 5 vans but get there early to secure a spot. Amazing views, nice place to go for a swim or walk, you can see lots of birds and seals.
Dave728430/01/2023Stayed 27/01/23. Quiet spot as the road only goes to a farm. Surface OK and easy to get level. Excellent sea views out to Holy Isle. Recycling bin and litter bin. Nearest services are at Whiting Bay about 20mins away. Toilet with black waste point at the side. Fresh Water tap on the other side. Watering can for cleaning out cassette. 10m hose just reaches from the tap to the edge of the pavement.
mollssgal11/09/2022Incredible Spot! Bins and picnic table to use, 20 min walk into the village which has a nice couple of pubs too. Highly recommend - the view from this spot was remarkable.

The most beautiful free camping spot we’ve found! Stunning with space for 3 small vans. We walked into Lamlash to the coop and had a drink at one of the pubs, a lovely spot overall.
max97119/08/2022Super chouette endroit très plat et tout près de l’eau avec le show des phoques et loutres. Très belle vue sur Holy Island. Aucun passage et grand calme. Place pour 3 gros coucou à l’aise. Belle balade à pied au bord de l’eau.

Would be a lovely spot but as it seems to be the only spot in the area is was crammed (stayed June 2021), we arrived at a respectful time but by 9pm there was 7 campers (of varying sizes) one parked so close we couldn't open the door to get out without a squeeze and another blocking us in.. would have liked to move but unable, wouldn't return in summer.

Great spot. It's a reasonably dark sky location, we got a clear night and could see the milky way. Wonderful.

Very quiet, a good coastal path route. Beach is pebbles. Views are beautiful. Good if you are a dog owner as the road is very quiet and if they like swimming it’s even better. No chocks needed as ground was flat.

Don't overcrowd the locals. 4 vans would fill the car park. Fantastic spot that needs to be preserved for all, not just us campers/moho'ers. Respect other users or we'll lose this wonderful spot!
