Great work these guys are doing with the Seal rehab centre (please support!) and a friendly welcome from the cheeky owner! Lovely spot with electric on the cliff top - you might even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights! Shower a bit confusing and on the ‘cool’ side and fresh water pressure very low so decided not to refill here as it would have taken a long time. Good food/beer at hotel nearby.

Stay here! Best site around and quiet. Phil and Clare (really really nice people) run a seal rescue centre from the camp site with a viewing window so you get to watch the seals in the rehabilitation pool on your way to the toilet. most of the pitches look out over the small harbour which has seals in too. please support these amazing people.

Campsite at cliff with a great view. Two toilets, one with shower. Friendly host. There are rescue baby seals rehabilitation centre at place. Payed 20£ for car, tent and two persons

  • 5/5

Great place to stay! Very kindly people. Facilities just wat we needed. Special thanks to the friendliest host, Phil. Beautiful view over the bay. We recommend a place in the back of the yard for the best view. We loved to see the baby seals, who stayed for rehab and release.

Schöner recht einfacher Platz, eher was für Zelt/Dachzelt/ kleinere Camper.

beautiful place with great facilities, stunning view and super host Phil - very honest, kind and caring human being. Thank you!

  • 5/5

Amazing location and owners were really friendly. Clean facilities but only 1 shower and 2 toilets, not a problem when we stayed but could be an issue if busier.

  • 5/5

Phil was a great host, really welcoming and friendly. Lovely location. £24 for the night. Good shower and toilet facilities - did the job! Cool little ‘Man Cave’ for people to chill out in if you fancy. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic site. Right on the headland overlooking the Orkney Islands and Hoy. All facilities available on request. Phil and Clare couldn’t have been better hosts. They also run a seal sanctuary on the site, so a donation is always welcome. We stayed two nights and spent the first evening in the ‘man cave’ enjoying Phil and Clare’s hospitality. Would definitely use this site again.

Lovely quiet site. Phil was lovely & very friendly! We’ll be back at some point. View was gorgeous & the toilet/ shower was nice and made out of pallet wood which I thought looked really nice!

    Wunderschöner Platz! passt alles!

  • 5/5

Very lovely spot. Simple but clean facilities. We had seals to see at the beach all the time we’ve been there. Nice view to the orkneys, lot of birds and wind - and nothing else ;-)

  • 3/5

Tolle Aussicht. Sanitäranlagen ganz okay. Jedoch fehlt ein ordentlich Platz zum abspülen. Für das Angebot zu teuer.

  • 5/5

Spectacular views, we were lucky enough to see a peek of the northern lights from this site which was incredible. Phil the owner is absolutely lovely and a right laugh. We did however have a huge midge problem.

  • 5/5

Prato erboso con vista sulle scogliere. Tramonto meraviglioso.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

honestly the camp owner Phil is the best host you could ask for. went over and above. beautiful views, toilets and shower clean. would highly recommend.

  • 4/5

Great stop off june 2022. Terrific views, lovely hot shower (though only 1 no queue). Friendly helpful owner. Would recommend and stay again.

  • 5/5

Beautiful site with amazing views. £22 for 2 in a camper. Facilities shabby chic, 2 toilets and a shower. Would stay again.

  • 5/5

What a great guy Phil is. A warm welcome, amazing view, clean facilities. I stayed here mid march, just me and another camper. Electric hook up available

  • 5/5

Phil was super helpful and really friendly. We had access to a shower and toilets, plus hook up. View from the site is incredible.

  • 4/5

Warm welcome from Phil. Easy to set up; power, water and clean and tidy toilet/shower block.

  • 5/5

Great campsite, very accommodating and friendly people. Nice facilities- toilet and hot shower. Best thing about it is the location and view, dolphins and seals in the bay.

  • 3/5

Very picturesque views. Quite basic amenities - one shower, two toilets for everyone. £25 for 3 of us plus £6 for grey/black waste disposal (grey into a ditch on instruction from site manager!) and water fill up. Manager’s a bit needlessly bolshy.

  • 5/5

Nice secluded campsite, Clean & tidy facilities. Electric hookups available, dog friendly & Cliff side views.

  • 5/5

Fabulous stay here last night. Phil was a lovely owner who couldn't have been more helpful. Stunning views and very well maintained facilities. £22 for two adults and a dog in a camper with no electric. Well worth it! Very dog friendly- he's turned the adjacent field into a dog run so lots of space for pup to run around.

  • 5/5

Incredible place to stay for the night ~ It’s the little touches from the host that make it fantastic, treasure hunt for the kids, fairy lights and automatic lighting around toilets at night , friendly hosts. Combined with stunning views, spotless clean facilities and wonderful field, Orcas in the bay!

  • 5/5

Amazing place with incredible views (it’s on a cliff top so can be a bit breezy but you can pitch to accommodate it), the owners are lovely people and couldn’t be more helpful, the mentioned about seeing whales and we were lucky enough to see an orca pod, The pitches have plenty of room, please support this small family run business.

  • 5/5

Amazing view and super friendly owners. The facilities are clean and well maintained.

  • 5/5

Unbelievable view! Great stop off here. Amazing owners who couldn’t have done more for us. We were able to hire bikes from them which was great. Now has chem disposal and grey waste

  • 3/5

Great wee stop over with view over the seal filled bay. Unfortunately no chemical waste point or grey water dump, but has everything else. Shared toilet and shower. Friendly staff.

  • 5/5

Fantastic site, great toilet and shower. No chem disposal. Views are amazing, there’s a walkable route down to the beach which has fantastic history. The campsite is run by fantastic people which also has a coffee shop/cafe with unbelievably good cake.
