Allowed to stay for free overnight if you have dinner at the pub. The actual campervan field was shut as it was too boggy to use. Food was pretty average, staff were friendly enough.

La porte se ferme vers 22h30 et ouvre vers 10h. Il y a une limite de 2 m sur la porte mais elle peut être ouverte par le personnel. Pas d'électricité, d'eau ou de poubelles - juste un champ.
Three Tuns Pub, call ahead and check about parking. Have dinner & drinks and you can stay for the night. Nice big garden. Great food & beer. Lovely staff. Gate locks around 10.30pm & opens around 10am. There is a 2m limit on the gate but it can be opened by the staff. No electricity, water or waste - just a field.

De deur sluit rond 22.30 uur en gaat open rond 10.00 uur. Er is een limiet van 2 meter voor de deur, maar deze kan worden geopend door personeel. Geen elektriciteit, water of vuilnisbakken - alleen een veld.

Pub and staff excellent. However, there was a wedding reception on the day we wanted to stay, lots of people milling about in the car park. Worth checking with the pub before you decide to stay.
tandiwildthang30/10/2022Field was closed so parked in main car park. Quiet at night. We only had a t6 but larger vehicles might struggle if got here too late as was busy. There was parking at church. Def worth phoning as it got v busy for food service. Food was outstanding. So much so we stayed extra Sunday for the roast and apple crumble. We will def return! Friendly service too.

Great place to stop and very easy to communicate with via email. Dog friendly with very friendly staff. Very busy when we got there but didn’t wait long for someone to unlock the gate. Food was absolutely excellent, second to none. I recommend the rib eye. Gate unlocked by 9am the next morning. We’ll be back without a doubt.

Returned after a year, 6m campervan, this must be one of the best run pubs in the UK, easily coping with wedding in the garden, a busy restaurant, enjoyed it so much we are stopping for Sunday Lunch

I don't understand all the high scores. We arrived here a bit late so couldn't have dinner anymore. So we suggested to have some drinks, have breakfast, or pay some cash but nothing possible and completely inflexible people....
soothill30/10/2021Fabulous place. Staff really friendly. We arrived on a Friday pm in a 7.3 M motorhome. We had ore booked dinner, I called before to ask if we could stay the night. There was no problem as we had booked a table. Food fantastic, great pub with a friendly bar and great atmosphere. Would recommend.

What a find ! Great parking spot adjoining pony fields. Character thatched roadside pub but not noisy at night. The food was definitely way better than normal pub grub. Staff really friendly. Would highly recommend for a stopover.

82fezzy28/08/2021Cracking pub, best meal we have had in a long time. Rang ahead to check ok to stay over night. Small car park around the back of the pub away from the road, woke to a view of ponies in the field. Will definitely be back!

Called ahead and checked it was OK. Ordered some drinks and chips and parked up for the night. Quiet little spot, lovely pub with good food. Would stop here again.

Such a great stay at the Three Tuns! A really warm welcome followed by a delicious 3 course meal! Really quiet night and woke up to a lovely view across the field with some new forest horses. Will absolutely be back!

Food was good in the pub, plenty of room in the field. Good for one night. Gate was locked from about 11pm until 11am the next day, but we weren’t in a rush to leave so it wasn’t a problem!

Staff very friendly and helpful. They opened the height restriction and we had lots of room in the quiet field. The food in the pub was top notch. I had the slow cooked pork which was much better than my mother in laws, and she knows her way around the kitchen. Great place to eat, lovely staff and well worth a visit.

We went there with large motorhome: 3 adults and 2 children. All staff were v friendly and accompanying. We were parked by the fields where we spotted ponies. There are lovely walks and super tasty (a bit pricey but wort it) food.
