Gorgeous little camping spot right next to the Priory ruins :-). Colin is a LOVELY man! There is a tap and there are also bins. It was £5 each per night and Colin collects the money in the morning. Definitely go the Cellar Bar just next to the field :-). Definitely be careful in the field! It is very easy to get stuck in the mud. Colin towed us out! Only suitable for small vans.

Sadly after ringing in advance to see if a Ducato van conversion would be acceptable I received a NO... This size of van would encourage larger motorhomes...hey ho!

Perfect quiet location in a stunning part of the black mountains. £5 per person and worth it. cellar bar in the abbey ruins, good choice of beer, good food and amazing location. Don’t tell everybody about it tho, keep it quiet and a bit of a secret. Landowner very friendly. Come prepared as no local shops but amazing little cafe down the opposite lane.

Now £5 per person, but one of our best values so far. As others have said, clean toilets, fresh water, rubbish and recycling bins and ability to wander around the beautiful ruins at sunset. Large field, we were able to find a level spot in our small camper truck.

Simple but great campsite, right next to the ruins of Llanthony Abbey (which has a small pub inside it where you can get a pint as you wander round the ruins - maybe the best pub garden in Wales??) You can also buy eggs from the owners of the campsite.

Couldn’t find anywhere that was levelled so decided to move on. Also wasn’t sure if our van fitted the criteria to stay or not. Access to some very clean toilets was good.

still a great place to park up in the Autumn. Be careful not to get stranded by wet grass on the slope. Still £4 per night each.

Basic site for smaller vans. Cheap, beautiful spot, and next to cafe in Priory

A picturesque and peaceful spot in an idyllic setting. Public toilet a short walk away. Water on site. The field is not flat so you'll have to find a better spot to park.

    Great place to stay.
