Wir haben hier eine ruhige Nacht verbracht. Allerdings ist ca. 1,5 km weiter unten die Aussicht viel schöner. Ein weiterer Camper stand mit uns hier. Man muss sehr früh oder spät abends kommen, da man sonst keinen Platz bekommt. Nachts war es sehr windig obwohl es tagsüber ruhig war. Keine Dienstleistungen vorhanden, 4G Netz mit Vodafone top. Uns sind hier auf dem Platz keine Bären begegnet;)
Free and close, but fills up early with hikers. Come early.
Just stopped here for some hiking. Great place, we’re in 6 1/2 m motor home, no problem. As said, get here early!
Amazing view of stars and quite night. A bit windy.
Every place on the Transpogar route is great. Here it is very close to the exit to the trail and to all the souvenir shops, snacks and the hostel where there is a restaurant. We slept there one night. Of course, during the day, every now and then someone comes and goes, but from the evening the traffic is stopped and it's very fun.
An ok place. Arrive early or at night. During the day it is full with cars and people enjoying the view. We left the camper there without any worries during the day while we were hiking. At night it is quiet. There are some cars very early. We had no issues with the wind as others have commented.
Excellent night swimming in near lake and perfect starting place for morning hike.
Nous y avons passé une nuit. La vue est vraiment exceptionnelle (nous n'avons pas eu de chance avec la météo malheureusement). Malgré tout, nous avons subi de forte rafale de vent toute la nuit et des 9h, il y a un va et vient incessant (en pleine saison, ce n'est pas inattendu)
The transfagarasan just opened for our eyes, we came from the south and spend the night here. very busy during the day, everyone wants to take a picture from this site. however the road is closed during the night and it's beautiful. we had a fox making rounds around our camper.
