Lovely quiet spot, and a great lakeside cafe for an excellent breakfast.

  • 5/5

Stayed there last night, absolutely lovely place to park with no overnight restrictions. Beautiful view of the lake and very peaceful. Would recommend

  • 4/5

Great place to stay. Stopped here 3 times now. thumbs up from us.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Brilliant stop over. Ducks in the background, lots of shade. The new one way system is brown signposted from the main road. Clearly marked “Lake”.

  • 5/5

Absolutely stunning spot. stayed for 1 night. Cafe and shop on the lake but only open till 4.30. Nice walk into town with shops, museums, and amenities. It's also free

  • 5/5

I live in the town and it's a good place for the night be aware one way system as of last year.. There is parking pretty much 80% round the lake circular road and parking by the cafe (all spots are very quite, dog walkers in the morning but very friendly)

  • 5/5

Nice quiet park up. Be aware, postcode takes you to the exit of the one way system. Toilets open in the morning. Cafe opens mid morning. We were the only van in the section near the cafe a couple of nights ago. Friendly dog walkers in the morning. Good free stopover if heading to elan valley.

  • 5/5

Great park up- either on the road (one way) there is parking next to the bike lane, or not too far round you get the cafe etc and more parking bays on the road or in the cafe car park

  • 4/5

What a loveky place. We found the parking behind cafe to be very dark as it is under tree cover. Our opinion is to use the parking bays. Many free spaces after 5pm. So if you find the spaces all taken just park around the lake ready to move after 5pm. Flat as a pancake parking bays. Lovely flat walk around the lake. Breakfast at the cafe was very good indeed.

  • 5/5

beautiful spot with ample spaces both tree lined view or lake view. very quiet. close to cafe and toilets (during opening hours) which serves a very scrummy breakfast. The fish and chip shop in town is nice and Arvon ale house is a must for an amazing cider, beer and gin selection. The lake has a large selection of family activities - watersports, bouncy castles, large sand pit and play park.

  • 5/5

Parking for about 5 camper vans in the car park behind the lakeside cafe. Smaller vans will fit in the parking just before the lakeside cafe turning. Free Wi-Fi from the cafe if you are close enough. Quiet at night. Big play park and field for the kids (and dog) lots of activities going on round the lake. Nice woodland walks.

  • 4/5

The new one way system now means you can only access the lake road from Grosvenor Road. Still a nice spot. WiFi and TV good

  • 5/5

Nice place. Easy parking. Reasonably quite night. Cafe nearby and sports facilities at lake. Be aware there is now a one way system round the lake so approach from south of village sign post Lake and Golf course

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night, no issues.. really close to town which is handy but at the same time it feels remote and is nice and quiet! Handy bbq area and benches and lovely walk around the lake :)

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Lovely location, right next to the lake Very quiet and no traffic despite being near the main shops and roads. Toilets on Lake side but closed at night, woke up just after 7am and they were open again, no times so not sure in when they are open or closed. Has picnic benches and bbq site and the cafe. Brilliant stop off, two vans parked up while we were here aswell and no issues what so ever.

  • 5/5

stopped over on way to tenby.lovely quiet place, lots of room for 6m moho.300yds to town,no hassle what so ever fab

  • 5/5

Absolutely loved our overnight stay here, we were alone all night! Don't worry about the one way system there's plenty of room to drive through AND to park up. lovely scenic walks around the lake with plenty of wildlife. Friendly locals and not too busy during the day either. The dragon in the water appears to have lost his head though sadly!

  • 5/5

Lovely little find, everything as described, super quiet place to stop over and lovely to walk around in the morning.

  • 4/5

Plenty of flat free parking, many with scenic views, as they have made the road around the lake one way and added plenty of unrestricted parking bays. The toilets at the lakeside cafe are now free of charge but only open by day. Just a five or ten minutes stroll into town.

  • 2/5

This has now got a one way system going anti clockwise. It is three lanes plus pavement. The nearside lane is a wide two way cycle path, the centre lane for parking and cars etc on the outer lane. Not great for overnight parking and is only just wide enough for campers.

  • 5/5

Great peaceful stopover. Good parking, free. Toilets near cafe.

  • 5/5

Loads of parking by lake, lots of benches to watch the world go by,and plenty rubbish bins.everybody says hello very friendly.
