very quiet and level. gravel surface but also there's mud on the edges of the area. Access is quite difficult but fine with our campervan. I'd probably would avoid if coming with a motorhome

I really wanted to put one star as access so poor for Motorhome. I'm not a squeamish driver been driving and reversing trailers for 55 years but wouldn't come again. Steep very narrow lengthy access with no passing places . Close to houses and village so felt it could upset the locals. I seek out good views for astrophotography but this wasn't one of them.

quite happy with this spot. access is difficult and straining on any large motorhomes. the car park is quite level, yet overgrown with nettles on the edges. using my roof antenna, I get 1 bar on 3, 2 bars on EE.

This is an amazing spot, we were daft and went in snow, had to dig ourselves out of 3inches of snow. friendly police escorted us and assisted off this location in there 4 x 4.

Nice out of the way place. Made it up the road with no problem in our campervan. No signal with vodafone

Great place as described up narrow hill we managed in our motorhome peaceful nights sleep quiet and peaceful nothing but bird song. poor WiFi and no facilities

  • 5/5

As described, single track, narrow & up hill. Our T5 managed it well. Enough space for 5 vans, level concrete and stone ground. Peaceful X1 night stay, no disturbances. Ideal for a dog walk in the morning and stargazing at night. No facilities or bins. Great place, clean and tidy.

We made it up in a Motorhome - arrived late at night. Any stargazers this is a spot incredible not light pollution at all! Woke up to a stunning view. Well worth it.

A beautiful and peaceful setting where the only thing you're likely to hear is birdsong. Accessed from the adjacent B road (which isn't entirely clear from satellite images). No vehicular access to forest trails leading to/from parking area. Mine was the only van here last night. Had no trouble getting here in an L3H2 Ford Transit.

great place parked there in our 7.6 metre motorhome no issues getting there. lovley quiet spot

Nice spot, empty, quiet. Not much signal and quite a steep hill to get to but manageable with a 7m sprinter!

Beautiful quiet spot. There's no light pollution either so good for stargazing. Next to a nature reserve and a few walks. Site is flat but access is a single track road with no passing places! Poor phone reception and no TV signal, but you've got a lovely site so you can easily do without for one night!

We stayed the night on 21st August. very nice level area hidden behind bushes. The road up was very narrow and steep. We made it up in Kangoo. We were there all alone. Nice mobile signal. Lovely views. Would stay again.

Lovely quiet spot, very isolated. Was one other van here when we stopped for the night. Walks in the woods for the dog. Felt safe and had no interruptions apart from sheep walking around in the early morning. Stayed with our xlwb van with no issues. Lovely views over the open countryside. Little to no phone signal and no TV reception.

Nice quiet spot and great for an evening walk before bedding down. Got busy with local dog walkers after 9am. Local area is fantastic - Hopton Castle about 4 miles away is well worth a visit!

Great spot for an overnight. very quiet

Great quiet spot with no restrictions. nice walks around the nature reserve. The access is only suitable for a van, was ok in our 6.3m but virtually no passing places on the short drive up, just prey nothing comes the other way!! poor phone signal.
