Beautiful spot but the entrance from Burley Manor hotel had signs saying private land no trespassing. Entrance from the Queen’s Head side had a closed gate. We did arrive about 8.30pm but there were no campers parked up. Asked about staying in the pub car park and met a very frosty response even though we asked politely

had a peaceful quiet night sleep, surrounded by deer in the evening, pubs are seconds away and toilets nearby (although closed overnight) a cheap and easy stay, just pull up in a spot and pay £15 when the guy comes round in his defender.

it's £15 to stay overnight in burley park with the deer, if the gate by the pub is closed, drive to burley Manor Hotel and you will see another entrance with cattle grid

In behind the Queens head pub but not the carpark with the height restriction. You go over the cattle grid and in the field. £4 all day2£2 after 2pm. Never found out how much for overnight as the man never collected. In the evening the deer are let out, Zed came round on a penny-farthing (no joke). Magical with them munching the grass all night. Toilets open early and late but not overnight.

As below not the car park not the coach park but drive over the cattle grid beside the coach park. Fabulous location and we were lucky to have it all to ourselves. Met Zen one of the ground keepers who introduced us to the deer. Some left over apples and we made some new friends. I think we will be back.

People below have the wrong place. Drive into the farmers field over the cattle grid using the same entrance as the Queens Head. Park in the field and the farmer will collect your money at some point. The farmer let’s the deer into the field over night so you might wake up with a deer on your front door. Not advertised online but easy once you know how!

Small carpark behind the pub, not ideal for large campervans, turned up at 8pm and it was full with pub customers so moved on.

Height barrier at the entrance so high top vehicles cannot entry. No motorhomes in the coachpark! Take the main road opposite up the hill and there is edge of the village parking opposite the school without a height barrier and was free. I hope this helps for those with height issues who want to visit Burley. ☆ As with most of the Forest overnighting is designated sites only.
