Flat quiet parking by the visitor centre. Would be amazing to begin hikes from here. Sadly it was extremely wet when I stayed. Opposite fire station so felt very safe.

phrd10/08/2023Précision : on parle bien du grand parking le long de la route, il est plat, il est facile d'accès pour notre 8m, c'est assez tranquille et c'est le seul endroit du coin qui était plat et libre pour la nuit hier soir 23h15 apres avoir fait des via-ferrata. a la hermida : impossible pour se garer. supermarché de potes: à fuir (sale, pentu, plein).

Not so bad after all. Here you stand on a flat surface on cobblestones and have shade from the trees in the morning. There's very little traffic on the road at night. It was quiet and de did feel safe here. Be sure to visit the visitor centre, which is well worth seeing!
Vanthingstodo20/08/2021It’s at the street but at night there’s pretty much no traffic. Few cars around. You’re not allowed to camp: no chairs, tables, nothing. So for AC it’s great, for vans it’s not. The visitor center is worth a visit btw, free entrance!
rafafpf09/08/2019Está junto a la carretera y se oye el tráfico, sobre todo desde las 7 de la mañana. Cerca, en Potes, enfrente del supermercado Lupa (al otro lado de la carretera) hay un sitio mejor
AxelW30/10/2018We asked at the centre if it is allowed to sleep on the parking. They said it is not a problem to them or the police, as long as we just parked an not camped. Do no chairs, tables, blocks or screens.
