We experienced a peaceful night with a lovely sunset. There’s a walk which we didn’t get a chance to do. We met Shropshire Outdoor Workers who told us there were no current plans to stop overnights as long as the site isn’t abused. They erected a sign detailing walks and wildlife. Space for 3 small vans or two larger (max 6m) due to narrow car park.

This little spot saved us tbf, campsites had cancelled but due to no overnight restrictions we pitched up 2 vans side by side at an angle so others could still get in and out easily. Walks and views in all directions. All dog walkers were very pleasant and chatty. Was clean when we arrived, we kept it the same so please do so yourselves to keep this little gem of a spot going

stunning place to stay, saw lots of wildlife, including frogs, newts, ducks, cattle, etc. lovely views over the pond, did a litter pick when we arrived (we always do). very noisy dog walkers in the morning almost felt passive aggressive.... the constant shouting of "MONTY!!" will be forever etched in my mind!!

5 stars for a pit stop and walk! I wouldn’t recommend staying here on the weekend though due to cars coming up and blasting music - it’s not a problem as it’s their local spot in their home but lead to a disruptive rest for us so we decided to move on and leave them to it. Probably a great place mid week

Perfect little spot, quite, surrounded by nature. Spent one night 15.7.22 night with a few other campers. Unfortunately not everybody’s taking their rubbish. Please make sure that this spot will stay.

We stayed for around 24 hours. Really lovely spot, very peaceful! We left the van there all day as we walked round the area. There were a couple of other cars coming in and out but for a bank holiday it was much quieter than expected. And the approach road was easily managed in a coach build talbot express. Highly recommend.

Tough manoeuvring in a big MH plus the approach road is narrow with passing places . However a top spot for walkers and lovely countryside. Some late evening visitors in cars but no issues

A very nice parkup with stunning views & easy walks. Our evening was very quiet, peaceful & we slept all night until nature woke us.

Arrived around 7pm, up a single track which is slowly ascends a hill. one or two locals parked up to chill for about a hour or 2 around 9 ish but weren't nosey or disrespectful. Had a peaceful night sleep. Picked others litter up in the morning to keep this spot on the map. Lovely bird song in the morning. No overnight restrictions, so please be respectful so it stays this way for others.

Really pretty spot and decent 4G signal with level areas but there were 4 cars there when we arrived at 6pm and if we'd have stayed we would have taken up the whole other half of the spaces which felt a bit rude if any other local walkers came for an evening stroll. We moved up to the stone circles spot instead.

Very quiet location and good walk there too

Beautiful spot, the nature reserve is gorgeous. Stayed on a week night, nobody around. Didn't see a soul before we left at 10am following morning. Did a litter pick as lots of cigarette butts in the car park.

Not advisable. Frequented by local youths as a drinking/gathering place at night.

had a great night, sheltered even tho we werte high up. a few dog walkers in morning. will be returning.

Excelent place, nice and quiet. Woods around cover you from wind. In the morning bit bussy but that's normal. definitly will be back there.

Lovely quiet place for the night in our 6.6m motorhome. No one else there and found a flat area. Lovely walk through fields of sheep and woods. A few walkers. No restrictions
