À côté de la rivière Trent par une écluse. C'est un petit parking, à l'abri d'une petite route. Cela fera l'affaire pour une nuit.

Next to the River Trent by a lock. It's a small car park, sheltered from a minor road. It will do for a night.

Neben dem Fluss Trent durch eine Schleuse. Es ist ein kleiner Parkplatz, geschützt von einer Nebenstraße. Es wird für eine Nacht reichen.

Great location, nice and quiet, lots of bird song. Just take it slow over the pot holes and uneven ground.

For little vans only! But perfectly nice. You can find a flat spot. There is the occasional plane but, didn't disturb us. Nice view of the canal

Did this with 5* being the best place to stay in the van. We feel 3* is fair. Road surface very uneven but not unmanageable. Flight path slightly overhead but with the windows shut not noisey. Easy access to the canal to sit and have a picnic on the warmer months. Headed to the anchor inn (5 mins walk) but it was not open 8pm Monday night.

Lovely spot to park over night and even better to wake up with a view. Very quiet all night but you are next to a main road (not a busy one) so be prepared not to have a lay in. We stayed in our Tent Box with no issues

Arrived late on a Tuesday night and left early the next day. Very quiet night no disturbances apart from pigeons on my roof in the mornings! Just one other car in the car park when I arrived. Just about managed to turn around in the car park and I’m 7m long. If there were more cars turning would be a problem for longer vans. Surface is very uneven but fine if you go slow.

Nice little stop over for the night, as long as you are careful the holes won’t be a worry, was a peaceful night and a nice walk along the canal/ river

    very peaceful, loved it

Great little spot, quiet car park with a few vehicles which I assumed belonged either to people using narrow boats or fishermen. Rough ground but level, large vehicles would probably struggle

A great little spot just right for a couple of cars/ vans to park up your not on the road and it is a very sheltered spot. Quite busy in the day time so we turned up early afternoon and and got all set up for our over night stay. You just need to take your time getting in and out the parking area as the ground very uneven and could ground your vehicle. But over all 10/10

Very uneven surface. Let down by the single blokes parked up thinking it was a site where inappropriate behaviour happens. Left as we felt uncomfortable.

Beautiful spot. Nice and quite. great place to walk the dog in the morning. Very uneven and suits a small van for turning.

  • 4/5

great safe place to stop over night only a couple planes in the night

  • 4/5

Stayed here the night was quiet enough, a bit of road noise and a couple of aircraft flew over. Small spot but I managed with my LWB boxer. Terrible surface take it slow and it’s fine.

Nice spot next to the canal lock and canal boats, uneven surface but able to rock up for the night, pub very local with co op just 10 mins walk Anything larger than a van derived camper would be unsuitable

  • 4/5

Gorgeous place to stop, stopped here in my LT31 for the night before attending the download festival pilot, only a 15 minutes cruise from the spot. Peaceful. Dropped a star because of the car park being riddled with craters and it is tight for larger vehicles to turn around.

Absolutely awful surface, do not even entertain the thought if you have a lowhanging exhaust like our Boxer as it got dented by navigating one of the many deep holes. not wide enough to park anything larger than a swb type van unless it's empty. it was busy when we arrived and turning around was an absolute nightmare.

Lovely quiet place to stop, perfect place to park at back end of the carpark under a tree but just yards away from the canal lock. Great location for a quick overnighter.

Arrived late in the evening so there was plenty of room to manoeuvre our long wheel base van. Parked right at the back on the grass next to a brown fence so we didn't take up any of the spaces and it was beautifully quiet all night. lovely little spot to wake up to. Although might be difficult or impossible to park in a large van if you arriving in the day time.

A nice spot but only for smaller vans. We are 7.3m and we couldn’t get in and turn round. Good for campervans but not suitable for anything but the smallest motorhome.
