gate was shut. parking further down the road and only a short walk into town.

Yes, pay & display (pay by phone) car park. 4 M/H bays marked out next to coach park at NE end of 'Agricultural Way' on non- cattle market days! Short, easy walk into Bakewell.

When we turned up it was just pay and display and no overnight stopping. they had closed the gates to the part that looks like you could stay overnight.
