Wonderful! Quiet! Only a few bikers. Nice fellow mates in Vans. Please take your rubbish!!! it is really sad to see… And no, your beer cans will not disappear in a camp fire. Small stream with fresh water.

Très bon spot malgré les quelques déchets. Endroit calme avec peu de circulation.

Giving four stars for beautiful location, only docking a star due to some litter (which we picked up) and a noisy family that came after us. No phone reception. Lovely noise from the river though!

stayed last night on this road nice stop over very quite and lovely little stream running by apart from the remains of fires everywhere and litter there are two large bins further up the road next to some abandoned toilets

Good, flat, very large spot, several smaller ones on this road as well. There were lots of rubbish though, so I expect its frequented by the local youths at the friday/wkend. We stayed on a Wednesday evening and had no unwelcome visitors. Had a bit of a tidy before we left. Very quiet and peaceful.

Stunning views! There was some garbage, but nothing too bad. No facilities. Very peaceful, with the sound of the little stream.

I'm pleased to say this spot has been cleaned up from the reviews below and is looking beautiful in December 2022. We actually slept at one of the spots further south because the reviews put me off, but when we reached this one it's perfect. Thank you to whoever cleaned it - let's keep it beautiful

Lovely view. Earth scorched by many campfires. There was a fair bit of litter and as we arrived there was some dodgy looking men leaving as we arrived that had left a smouldering pile of rubbish. Was quiet and we were undisturbed during the night (a Monday).

It would be lovely but it is a complete mess. Campers have destroyed it. I saw human shit, toilet, paper and beer cans everywhere. People burning rubbish and cutting down trees.

Regularly frequented by boy racers. Teenage campers leave a real mess in the Meldons and when I passed recently on a hot day, most were blind drunk and wet (fully clothed) from falling in the river. I tend to avoid this area in good weather
