Vues à 360 degrés sur les montagnes voisines avec des levers et couchers de soleil spectaculaires. Accès goudronné sur tout le parcours sauf les 100 derniers mètres qui se font par piste ferme.

Quite peaceful location with 6 places, 3 x with electric and 3 x without. Services include utility room with toilet and washing machine, fresh water and disposal of grey and black waste for longer stays. 360 degree views of the nearby mountains with spectacular sunrise and sunsets. Tarmac access all the way apart from the last 100 metres which is by firm track.
Also available fully equipped self contained holiday rental apartment "Rico's Retreat" on site, available to book through AirBnB etc. great if you want stay or have visiting family or friends.
Great area for walking or cycling or just sitting back and relaxing.

Vrij rustige ligging met 6 plaatsen, 3 x met elektra en 3 x zonder. Tot de diensten behoren een bijkeuken met toilet en wasmachine, vers water en afvoer van grijs en zwart afval voor een langer verblijf. 360 graden uitzicht op de nabijgelegen bergen met spectaculaire zonsopgang en zonsondergang. De toegang is volledig geasfalteerd, met uitzondering van de laatste 100 meter die over een stevige weg gaat.

We arrived to a ‘tranquilo’ welcoming!A beautiful oasis in a rural area.Easy bike ride to village.Stayed an extra night as perfect for us.Shower was available.Water on ration at moment so not available.Wasn’t an issue.Don’t expect ‘party time’ in village, typically local,but we loved it!If you want countryside and peace this is the place. Spent a night here, very friendly welcome, but due to a drought in the area were only allowed very limited access to water. The site advertises a shower but there wasn't one, and the toilet doesn't take paper. Nowhere close to walk to for food or drink.
We had three nights here a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views. Jeff and Debb were great hosts, helpful and friendly. Jeff went out of his way to guide us when we got horribly lost on the way in (our fault) and it was getting dark. Good and super-clean facilities and very good value for money. Can’t recommend it enough.
Hier fühlt man sich schon fast zuhause. Herzlicher Empfang und die Betreiber (Jeff & Debb) nehmen sich immer Zeit für ihre Gäste. Wer entspannen und die Ruhe genießen möchte ist hier gut aufgehoben. Super gepflegte und absolut saubere Anlage mit wunderschönen Stellplätzen. Im nahe gelegenem Ort, gut mit dem Bike/Roller zu erreichen, gibt es einen Supermarkt und ein klasse Tappas Bar.
Diesen ruhigen Platz mit tollen und netten Gastgebern haben wir sehr genossen. Wir wollten eigentlich länger bleiben, jedoch ist die Bewässerung des unmitelbar angrenzenden Ackers sehr geruchsintensiv.
Ein kleines Paradies für Leute die Ruhe suchen. Die Betreiber kann man einfach nur lieb haben. Bei allem sehr hilfsbereit. Duschen, WC und Waschmaschinen super sauber. Das ganze Grundstück sehr gepflegt. Unsere Erwartungen wurden 100 Prozentig erfüllt. Schlechte Gerüche konnten wir nicht wahrnehmen.
Ein ruhe Paradies, wer Abgeschiedenheit liebt der liebt diesen Platz. Jeff und Debb sind so herzliche Gastgeber und kümmern sich um das Wohlbefinden, auch zu empfehlen die Marmelade die Debb selber macht. Wir hatten wunderschöne Weihnachtstage und wurden von Debb an zwei Tagen hervorragend buonississimo bekocht. Thanks for everything Grazie mille Manuela & Philipp
Een prachtige plek met enorm gastvrije eigenaars. Jeff is zelfs nog met ons mee geweest naar een garage voor onze camper, een dag later deed hij ons nog een berichtje of het was gelukt, super attent. Het is wel aan te raden van tevoren even te bellen. Jeff en Debb, hartelijk dank voor jullie gastvrijheid!

Stopped off at Ricos Retreat and had a lovely relaxing time, stayed 4 days and wasn't long enough. Jeff & Debbs were wonderful hosts and have an Amazing place. Nothing too much trouble for them and Debbs has the most delicious chutneys and Jams for sale. Will definitely be back on next year's travels l, keep up the great work.

Very good! A warm welcome. Suitable for bigger campers as well. We came with a trailer. The pool was great. In the evening very quiet and relaxed. A real 5-star camper site!
Fabulous place to spend some quiet time. Great for walking and cycling. The place is immaculate and very pretty, and Jeff and Debb’s can’t do enough for you. The homemade preserves are amazing - as are the views. We’ll be back every year. We highly recommend.
Spent three fabulously peaceful nights here and waking up to the scent of orange blossom was a unique experience for us. Not many orange trees in Scotland! Easy to get to. Great walks along the orchards. Super hosts, thank you for sharing.
Geweldig gastvrij. Vriendelijke mensen. Zouden een nacht blijven wat er drie werden. Mogelijkheden om was te doen. Je kunt drinkwater tanken. Vuilwater en toilet reinigen. We arrived to spend 2 nights and stayed for 10.!!! This lovely, peaceful place is in an area of agricultural land, with broccoli, lettuce and oranges growing all around. We visited the local towns and villages on our scooter. It is only 15 minutes or so from Aguilas. Jeff and Debbs are great hosts and recommended some great restaurants. We will definitely return.
De camperplek is werkelijk prachtig en de ontvangst was bijzonder vriendelijk. We hebben maar vier sterren gegeven omdat de omgeving met de intensieve tuinbouw en varkenshouderijen ons minder kon bekoren.
We hadden een super rustige fijne paar dagen. Je kunt wassen en ideaal voor online werk. (Kalm en goede internetverbinding) Jeff en Debb zijn ongelofelijk vriendelijk!

Als je de drukte wil verruilen voor n rustige, goed georganiseerde en rijk voorziene cp met vriendelijke en service gerichte eigenaren ( Jeff en Debby), gelegen in een agrarisch gebied met weidse uitzichten, overweeg dan deze! Wij konden er nauwelijks nog wegkomen; zo fijn en genietend is het hier.
Lovely quiet place, great mountain views, enjoyed sitting in the garden and relaxing. Good bike rides available to the top of the mountains towards Aguilas and to Puerto Lumbreras. You need your own shower, but there's a toilet. Jeff & Debb's hospitality is second to none. unbelievable value at €10 including electric and water/waste. was going to stop for 3 nights, stayed 9! recommended.

What a gem of an oasis.. after travelling for several days, an looking for that ideal location to rest, we found it. Ricos Retreat is owned an managed by Jeff & Debb, the ideal hosts. Both very helpful. The location is based in the countryside with mountain ranges all around. All in all, we had a fantastic few days stop here, an wouldn't hesitate to return.
