Decided to take the motor home for a spin and thought we would stop here for the night, had a couple of drinks mid day to say hi to the owner who was very friendly, we went in for dinner that night and was pleased to find it warm and welcoming for us and our two dogs, however half way through my lasagna I found a long blonde hair that didn't come from us having short hair. spent around £50 during the stop over so they got custom from us but no good other than a food and sleep over, my wife enjoyed her Sheppard pie but as I said my dinner ended up not being nice.

We own a little pub just off the M62 in between Doncaster and Selby. 4 miles away from Ferrybridge services. Our Car park offers private areas away from the road and we’re family friendly with a huge beer garden. We’re free of charge as long as you pop in and have a drink and maybe some food, just ask at the bar out of courtesy. Give us a call if you have anymore questions. Happy camping folks

We chose this Pub to break our travel as very convenient for the M62. Parked at the top of the car park next to Beer garden, no slope to contend with. Car park large enough not to interfere with other patrons. Meal in our opinion was excellent, and the stop over was not very noisy at all and a good sleep was had. Thanks to all the staff for making it possible.

Lovely staff, food excellent value, no real ale. car park fairly flat. Excellent stop off, definitely recommend and would use again if in the area

Good location near the junction of the M62 and A1. Warm and friendly welcome from the owners and bar lady. Good food, service and drinks. Good garden to let the dogs have a stretch. It was quiet and peaceful but we didn’t enjoy a nights sleep because our MH was stolen at 9:15pm and recovered by the Police from Bentley.

Had a good night in the pub, friendly staff food not to bad but unfortunately our friends van was stolen from the car park whilst we were eating. It was recovered from a local campsite but somewhat damaged. I suggest very strongly that the owners place warnings in the car park and place security cameras in appropriate places. Don’t let this put you of staying there just take necessary precautions!

Fabulous overnight stop. We arrived after 9pm on Sunday so the bar was closed. Out of courtesy I’d messaged via Facebook to ask if it was ok to stop. Nice little detour to avoid the roadworks on the A1 too

Fantastic overnight stop. Very friendly greeting on arrival. Had a few drinks and a lovely mixed platter for 2. Free if you have a drink but would recommend having a bite to eat as well. Beautiful comfy pub. We will be back next time we are in the area.

Leckeres Essen, faire Preise, sehr nette Besitzer. Straße sei zwischen 3-4am lauter, davon konnten wir jedoch nichts feststellen. Einfach zu parken und eben.

Really friendly welcome, really comfortable pub, plenty of space to park our 7.5m long motorhome and a good, safe spot to stay. We just stopped in for drinks, but the menu looked good so plan to eat on our next stopover. There was just one other motorhome overnighting when we were there, but room for several more. Highly recommend.

We stayed here on a Sunday night so no food being served but that wasn't a problem for us. Called in advance just to make sure it would be ok to stop. Very friendly and a perfect stop over, Thank you.

Good stopover. Phoned beforehand (same day) and found a space at top of car park. We stayed on a Sunday night, so car park was busy until 7pm. Dog friendly, massive beer garden. Good pub grub which was reasonably priced. Good night's sleep, with a bit of road noise from 6:30am onwards.

Stayed 1 night when travelling through England. Nice quiet sleep despite road being nearby but wasn’t noisy until morning. Staff very friendly & bar food was reasonably priced with a great big beer garden at back for sitting about in the sunshine. No facilities for camper but what can u expect for free? Would recommend for defs

Came across the location by accident looking for somewhere to park on way back from the north coast 500. We read the description from the new owners. We have had excellent service fabulous food, and a really great and quiet and level parking area. If you are passing this way a 5 star stopover. We will be back Steve Tracey and the big Jaffa (yes it is Lamborghini orange )

Called at this excellent stopover, returning from coast, to checkout for a future visit. Pub has nice rural feel in a small village, close to M62. Wide entrance, easy access to parking to front and side of pub, almost level with room for 5 vans. Massive beer garden to rear with benches and kids play area. Very nice inside, dog friendly, helpful bar staff, good menu. We ate here and will return!

We stopped here while giving the van a run, we arrived mid afternoon and popped in to say hi to the owner who was very friendly and had a few drinks along with our dog's, as we planned to stop over we went in for dinner at night, food started of good until I pulled a long blonde hair out of my lasagna, my wife enjoyed her Sheppard pie but as I said my dinner ended up not being nice.

Really friendly and welcoming, we had food and drinks for two adults so we spent quite a lot, but we cannot fault the place! Great place for a stopover.
