Great place to stay! We arrived really late & exhausted. Sandjar and his family were already asleep, but welcomed us warmly even they didn’t know that we are coming. He did the registration for us and helped us to fix our flat tire. His english is perfect. The house is perfectly clean (toilet, nice shower and comfy beds). So 5/5 - highly recommended:)!!!
We stayed 3 nights with our camper van next to the hostel for 500.000 som including registration. We enjoyed the perfect clean shower and toilet and a washing machine (30.000 som). We also got filtered water for cooking etc. Sandjar and bis familiy are extremly friendly and we felt welcomed every minute. As mentioned, Sandjar speaks very good English due to the fact that he studied in GB.
Sanjar and his family are just beautiful. They kindly helped us with many things - registration, translation (Sanjar lived in London for 10 years so speaks incredible English), and where to go to fix things on our van. Nothing was too much trouble. The facilities are fantastically clean, the location super central, and their laundry service was top drawer. Do not stay anywhere else in Bukhara!
Maybe 2-3 vans can park there. WiGi is fast and the washing machine is the best in central asia: 9kg! So you can finally wash bigger items like bedlinen (ours is 220x140 and never fits in any machines). People are very nice and offer homemade dinner: much cheaper (and better!) than in restaurants and a good chance to taste local family food. Registration is done in a very professional way, shower is hot and huge, water pressure is perfect and it’s cleaner than clean. You can also rent very clean rooms with heating/aircon for around 12€/night.
