Beautiful spot above reservoir. The toilet/shower room was very modern clean and with plenty of hot water. Apart from EHU and chem dump, that is the total facilities. There is no shop, cafe, bar or lounge We booked HS and were offered a pitch accessed across grass. We couldn't find reception among half built buildings. Otherwise spent quiet weekend with only one other. £32.50 per night ouch!

Stayed around Aug 23. Nice dog walk out of the site and over the road to the right. Site was under construction and no facilities other than toilets which were spotless. Think £35 was a bit steep given the circumstances. Would possibly return for that price once the facilities are finished.

Site wordt verbouwd. Café dicht geen toegang tot wandelpaden. Gecombineerde Toilet/douche slechts twee voorhanden. Zeer rustige camping met mooi uitzicht. Te prijzig (35 pond) voor het gebodene

We stayed there in our campervan for a weekend. We had a fantastic time. All the staff are very nice, friendly and made us feel very welcome. The location is amazing and you can see a lot of work has been done to make this place special. The food is delicious and so is the Boat Shack lager. The milkshakes are awesome. I had the biscoff one and need more haha. We will be back ASAP.

One of the best sites I have ever stayed on, toilet facilities immaculate, location beautiful, and just the place for a relaxing night, will defiantly return when in the area.

We had the same experience as the others: very friendly reception by the owner, great view, beer on tap (!), clean toilet/shower combo (2). We recommend this site.

The Boat Shack is a fabulous hidden gem. The views were to die for and camp was very quiet and very clean. Nice cafe with bar and plenty of lovely walks on your doorstep. We had the whole field to ourselves and enjoyed pizza and a pint for £11 which I think they do on Fridays. This sight had all the facilities you needed and more but with a lovely quiet rural feel.

Fantastic location, family run campsite, alpacas , larmas , sheep all rescue animals. The views are to die for , waterside location, food n drinks not forgetting the milk shakes in the on-site “boat shack “cafe 10/10 from us, grass and hard standing pitches with 16amp , immaculate shower toilet block £30 per night worth every penny

A wonderful place with great scenic views. All staff members very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Clean and tidy everywhere. Some really good walks with the dog also close by.

Great place, lovely views. EHU, water and chemical disposal Knocked a star off only due to toilets/showers not open due to COVID but still £25 per night.
