Great little spot near Abbotsbury. When we stayed it was a very clear night and the amount of stars visible was incredible. We arrived at half 5 and there was already another van there, would be quite tight for 3 vehicles. You need to move around a bit to get a relatively flat spot. 4G (EE and O2) was very good.

Beautiful view, quiet during the night, not as big as mentioned in the other reviews I’d say. Space for 3 vans or 1-2 bigger vehicles. Can be quite slippery with heavy rain.
We were struggling to find a suitable quiet space closer to the shore, so decided to try this... A fabulous little spot, quiet and secluded. Beautiful views. Enough space for several vans or a couple of large motor homes. Perfect

Just wanted to echo other reviews. Great spot, great views. 20 minute walk over fields or via the quiet road into abbotsbury with loos, shop, pubs etc.
Great park up. Great view of coastline and surrounding hills. Room for maybe four vans. A little uneven and on a slope. Narrow single track lane to get to. No facilities and no prohibitive signs. Would recommend.
Lovely little spot, so peaceful, woke to the sound of the birds, shame about the dense fog in the morning otherwise would have been able to enjoy the views
Lovely spot. Road virtually unused at night. We were all alone, but space for 3 vans. Not level, but not bad either. Beautiful views of Abbotsbury chapel, chesil beach and the fleet.

Sehr schöner kleiner gemütlicher Parkplatz. Guter Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wandertouren. Wir finden den Platz sehr schön. Auch sehr gut für Hundespaziergänge geeignet. Bitte nehmt Euren Müll mit.
Brilliant spot, great views. Only enough space for 3 vans. Peaceful night. Locals use the road during the day. Village just down the road with 24hr toilets, a few pubs, tearoom and shop. Would stay over again.
Great views. Lumpy entrance and quite uneven so have to choose spot carefully. Some overnight traffic but narrow road so no boy racers roaring past. Would recommend to others. Hope people take litter away so doesn’t attract attention as most other local parking spaces have rocks across entrance to make narrow/ impossible

Have stayed here a couple of times, great spot. Lovely sunset each time, good view over chisel beach. Enough space for at least 2 vans, 3 if all park sensibly. I'll be back that's for sure!
Great spot, just arrived so can't comment on the overnight experience yet. One other van here when we arrived. Realistically there is room for two vans, no more unless they are all transporter size. Update. Spent a peaceful night here with no disturbances.
Amazing place for a night stop. Felt safe with 2 other campers with us. The views are spectacular. Will stop again.
Highly recommend this spot! we stayed several nights. no bins so taje your rubbish with you. the pictures don't really do it justice to be fair. a little layby overlooking the sea and Abbotsbury is walking distance(15 mins downhill).the town has 24h public toilets, a Spar, bakeries and pubs. we even took the jurrasic coaster coach to Lyme Regis for the day. the road is very quiet (narrow though!)

In my 7m motorhome car park just large enough with it empty. An uneven site no bins etc however views are spectacular.Road is single rd with plenty of passing places tight for 2.3m width van though. it would easily fit 2/3 smaller vans.
