Great spot, very peaceful overnight, a contrast to Mumbles beach which is very busy. Stayed a few nights while working nearby. Height barrier wasn’t in place. Very packed some evenings until about 8pm due to kids football parking. But usually quiet after that. Some activity in the mornings but no one disturbed me. Surrounded by trees so not so good for solar unless you’re out everyday like I was.

There is no height limit and no signs saying no overnight parking. We stayed here for one night and were the only two campers! Be prepared for a load of cars arriving in the morning, we didn't mind as we were already packing up. It was lovely to be surrounded by trees. Would recommend.

Height restriction was open, spent the night with no problems. Construction works appear to be going on at the pitch club house, they start quite early. Lots of friendly dog walkers.

    Height barrier. So no access.

2.4m barrier in place with signs saying no overnight parking :(

Used as a parking spot for kid's footy match during day, no trouble. Woken early in the morning by community officer to ensure we wouldn't be stuck in Wales by lockdown - friendly exchange. No issues here, seems quieter than the coast.

Great spot in a carpark surrounded by trees, really peaceful and close to the town and seafront. We couldn't find space in the seafront car parks, but this spot was empty. Good phone/internet connection. Nice big field immediately next to the spot which is great for the dog.

Stayed here evening of 18th August 2020. Large car park surrounded by trees. Only one other camper there. Couple of dog walkers in the morning, but other than that no other activity. Would recommend staying here and walking to The Mumbles, rather than the beach front car parks, which we found very busy and noisy.

A nice quiet spot (once the mopeds left around 10pm) Fairly level ground for parking. Right next to a large playing field and a short walk to the Mumbles.

Easy spot. Loads of space and friendly community. Quick walk to couple of different beaches. Drive down newton road past the football pitch then turn left into woodland area.

Large quiet car park with great access to the local area. I enjoyed a ~1 hour walk to Surfside Cafe then following the coast trail back to town.

Quite excellent place next to the big city because its in the forest , the street is barely hearable and you have your total peace. at 8am are coming first dog walkers.
