8/4/23 Perfect stop over, quiet at night, flat and lovely view. 3 motorhomes the night we were there. There are no services. It’s a popular place for launching private boats and also boat tours.

we stonden hier twee rustige nachten en maakte hier vandaan een georganiseerde rondvaart over het meer en langs de stuwdam.

der Ort ist gut für eine Nacht, weil er ruhig ist.... es gibt tatsächlich mal keinerlei Hundegebelle. Ausser der Staumauer und dem See gibt es jedoch nichts. Die Baustelle besteht nach wie vor, stört nachts jedoch überhaupt nicht. Mobilfunk ist sehr gut.

Die Bilder sind total veraltet. Hier ist eine Großbaustelle, wo ab 7.30 Uhr bis mindestens abends um 19 Uhr laut gearbeitet wird. Und es ist nicht schön! Wer nur für die Nacht kommt, wird evtl. Glück haben!

Spot avec une très belle vue sur le lac et un ciel étoilé incroyable. Quelques passages de voitures sur le parking jusqu’à tard dans la nuit mais pas très dérangeant . Toujours quelques problèmes de propreté les gens ont du mal à faire attention à leur poubelle …

Excelente localização com uma vista fantástica para a barragem. Maravilhoso pôr do sol. Bastante tranquilo mas sem qualquer iluminação noturna. Sem serviços mas Alqueva aqui perto.

Heerlijke plek, waar je bij de kade prima het water in kan om lekker af te koelen en waar ook honden welkom zijn.

A lovely place to park, did two nights in the week. Only thing I could say is they need to empty the rubbish bins. As we all clean up after us but if the bins are full it just blows across the the park.

We arrived at 6 PM two French camper van were already there the place is flat and big enough for 10 vans, the sunset was pretty nice. Easy access to the water if you have your own standup paddle-board but not really enjoyable for swimming because of seaweed on the lake shore.

Wunderschöner Platz am Stausee. standen mit sechs Womos hier. Picknicktische vorhanden. Schatten. Mülltonnen.

ce site est grandiose, nous n'avons pas dormi sur place mais il y avait des CC installés, nous sommes allés passer la nuit dans le village au parking de la plage sur les conseils d'un portugais mais pensons que ce parking est plus destiné à y passer la nuit donc revenus le matin ici pour notre petit déjeuner

Sehr schön, natürlich nur in der Nebensaison nutzbar

Sehr schöner Platz und ruhige Lage, trotz der Nähe von der Staumauer. Sehr sauber in der Hoffnung man hält es weiter sauber. Da es in 6km Entfernung eine kostenlose Ver- und Entsorgung gibt, auch für Chemietoilette.

Local agradavel mas sem despejos ou agua para autocaravanas. Hoje e domingo e o snack bar estava aberto e os passeios de barcos estavam a trabalhar com grande grupo de pessoas a alugar para passeios. Havia mais de 100 pessoas no local alem de 02 ACs. Nao existe nenhuma placa para proibir as autocaravanas mas nao passamos a noite por nao ter como despejar aguas cinzas e negras.

Very nice spot quiet bit busy on the WE, beautifull sunset and sunrise. toilet just near and vey clean, before to get the road to the marina there is some stray cats so please bring some food , sometimes it's good to give back and not just to take

Mooie plek aan het water. Om 1.00 uur al nachts kwamen we 2 auto’s met harde muziek maar die gingen na 15 min weg. Prachtig uitzicht op de dam en het water.

Perfect place to spend the night by the dam. GNR came over and said it was OK for campers to spend the night. Please behave, don't leave any rubbish behind so this doesn't change and everyone can enjoy the area.

Big open carpark, very quiet at night. Fishermen launch their boats from the slip road and a few other day visitors. We stayed 2 nights and were not bothered. The cats don't look thin but are more than happy to have any scraps you throw them.

Nice and quiet in the night, in day time people come and visit the lake. Beware there are cats, and they will sleep under your hood/by your engine. Just open the hood in the morning before you leave to check if any cats are there. They dont move if you start the engine. I had 4 cats laying under my hood, they jumped away as soon as I opened it.

Endroit très calme et reposant , manque les services pour ccar. la vue est magnifique sur cette retenue d eau.

Aire sympa en bordure du barrage pas de services hormis poubelles pas de problème pour les grands gabarits visite possible en bateau du barrage

A beautiful view of the Alqueva lake and of the stary night. No services, but there's a bin for rubbish and picnic benches. Level ground, easy access. No problem parking, we asked the police and they said it was OK to sleep. Worth visiting the Praia Fluvial da Amieira, which has outside showers and it is close by (12kms) but apparently no overnight parking permitted.

Awesome place. A boat tour company and the lake very close to take a swim. Spent a night here and the sunset along with the stars made our stay just perfect.

Veníamos de noche huyendo del COVID19 y el calor de Extremadura y nos encontramos con este pedazo de pantano épico ... sin palabras muy fácil y suave... solos en la noche.. las estrellas nos acompañaron en una velada mágica.. baño en la mañana nivel Dios...Muy recomendable! Las personas que trabajan en el chiringuito muy muy amables!

Nice spot. No tree work going on when we were there. Good for one night. At least 10 other campers there but plenty of room at this time of year

I can confirm the last comment: there is still tree removal and wood shreddening going on and therefore pretty much noise at daytime. No access to toilets. Rubbish bins on the spot. Nice view across the lake especially at sundown, sheep in the nearby surrounding and lovely paths to walk, too. From time to time there are some fishermen or boat cruises.

Superb sunset. Plenty of space to park but there was some tree removal happening so not the quietest during the daytime at the mo. The adjacent watersports company are excellent -Alentejo Break.

Parking calme au bord du lac, toilettes mobiles accessibles le jour où nous y étions, réveil au milieu des moutons. Bon moment.

Sind zum 2. Mal hier, ist genauso ruhig wie im Herbst. Kein Service, jedoch gut zum Übernachten. Bitte sauber halten! 4G !

Very nice and quiet at night. During weekdays, it is mostly quiet, during daytime too. During week-ends there are lots of visitors who come and go during daytime. Can get very noisy.

Superbe endroit, calme. Possibilité de faire un tour en bateau sur le lac pour 5 € par personne la demi-heure sur le plus grand lac artificiel d'Europe. Vraiment trop top. Je vous recommande cet endroit.

Direkt am See in der Nähe der Staumauer habe ich eine ruhige Nacht verbracht. Keinerlei Services. Aber sehenswerter Sonnenuntergang über dem See

Superbe endroit. Vue magnifique sur le lac. Nous y avons passé une nuit sans aucun bruit...! Pas de souci de stationnement avec le camping-car et la remorque. Nous n’étions que 2 !

Bivouac parfait, calme et sécurisé. On peut se baigner et en saison petit troquet avec personnel très sympathique. (location canoë et sorties bateaux)

Sehr schöner Platz mit Picknick Bänken. Direkt an einem Bootssteg. Keine Ver-und Entsorgung. Es können Boots Touren gebucht werden vor Ort sehr schön wenn man kein eigenes Boot dabei hat. Super zum Baden.

Genial para caminar junto al agua y para dormir. nada de ruido y muy acompañado de autocaravanas.

Un beau et tranquille bivouac sans service. Nous étions une douzaine de camping-cars et fourgons.

2017.02.04 - Très bel endroit, stabilisé et de niveau, au calme à cette période. Belle vue sur le barrage !

Super endroit pour passer la nuit. Très calme. Belle vue. Magnifique coucher de soleil. Nous avons eu l'heureuse surprise d'avoir eu la visite d'un renard et d'un sanglier (ou cochon sauvage...). Le réveil avec les cloches des brebis : on a adoré !

Le 30 mai 2016 beau paysage manque de services

Très beau parking, plat, tranquille.

Juste magnifique, nous étions 2 sur un parking très grand. Le couché du soleil est magnifique.

Au calme sur un parking stabilisé. Possibilité de trouver de l'eau de l'autre côté du rond point près du point d'information.
