(IV54 8ND) - Unnamed Road

A great little spot. Mostly flat and it has a bin. No service. It is however quite exposed, so if it's windy you will probably feel it. Did get woken in the early hours by deer, but otherwise a great place to wake up. A Highland Council van stopped by in the morning, saying that there were facilities in the village if I needed them.

sloped car park so for us it was not usable as a night time stop off, there is a bin so that's a plus! views are incredible and we were able to have a break from driving and work out which islands we could see for later on in our trip

Amazing view, just off the road but very few cars came past. 5 motorhomes here for the night. Excellent spot!

Stunning views and plenty of off road space but the wind was 20mph and it was due to rain through the night as well so we decided to move on. Would be excellent on a calm day though!

Stayed here last night, absolutely stunning views. We were the only ones (until about 22.30) when another camper pulled up but we were at separate ends of the carpark. Very quiet road at night, few cars from about 7am. Lovely walk behind the carpark which we enjoyed. Would definitely recommend. Toilets are 50p entry and a few minutes drive away.

Great stop over location for us just outside applecross. Very large area for a few cars/motorhomes, we were lucky to be the only ones here and it was so peaceful. Stunning views to wake up to!!

Very quiet spot with fantastic views 5 mins away from a local inn,good food and decent Wi-Fi also local public toilets, saw some deers near by no issues only a few cars passed, remember just leave your foot print

Amazing views, low traffic, one unhappy resident drove past us twice and beeped. Saw a stag at night roaming around

Beautiful views across the water, 2 stags close to the van door and as we came in the autumn no midgies around. just us for the night was amazing

Lovely views, saw 3 stag walking by our camper, absoutley surreal! flat ground, 2 other campers on there with us. Midges will eat you alive! keep doors shut

Stayed here for 1 night, not very busy just us (car camping) and another camper van. Was popular earlier in the evening with people stopping to admire the stunning view. Lovely place, road is quiet and there’s a few parking options on this road. Beware of midges though! Loads of them in the evening so doors and windows kept shut!

Lovely spot to stop. parked here for the day went for a nice walk into Applecross. stayed here the night and then went for a walk along the river walk. Def recommend.

Large flat lay by overlooking Applecross bay, stunning views of the bay and Skye, big enough for 5 ish motorhomes 5 min drive to Applecross, highly recommend

Fab view across the bay and just a short drive to clean public toilets (cost 50p but can be done by contactless card payment).

Nice big layby, and the view was beautiful.
