Far enough away from road to stop buffeting from traffic. Traffic stopped around 11pm till around 7am. Great nights sleep. Flat and peaceful. Recommended.
Parking en bord de route à environ 10 minutes de Portree, assez de place pour 3 Camping-cars. J'ai séjourné ici une nuit d'orage. lieu trés venté.
Layby at side of road about 10 minutes from Portree, enough room for approx 3 mh's. stayed here on stormy night. wind was blowing a hoolie!
Layby am Straßenrand, ca. 10 Minuten von Portree entfernt, ausreichend Platz für ca. 3 mh. Ich war hier in einer stürmischen Nacht. Wind wehte ein Hoolie!

Right next to the road. We were late to get at nicer spot on the popular Isle of Ske, everything else we found was full. Trafic was quiet at night, we slept fine.

Terrain plat. Bord de route avec beaucoup de passage en soirée. Présence de déchets sur le bord c’est dommage.

04/05/22 - Spent one night here the road was very busy in the morning. The park up is set back from the road so the passing traffic didn’t rock the van at all. There isn’t much around but served it’s purpose. We managed to get a pretty level spot, space for several vans.

Lay-by in off the road enough spaces for about 4 motorhomes, quite level, traffic overnight was minimum, would definitely recommend for an overnight stop.

A lay-by off the main road, tucked back enough to not feel the passing traffic. Great views towards Portree. Fairly level, enough space for 4/5 campervans. Road noise quiet between 11pm-7am, had a good night sleep!
